The young man (Duncan?) working reception, the bar/dinner and breakfast was exceptional. He helped with our heater and light bulb issues even though it was late, served nice pints of beer and was there again in the morning with a smile on his face serving our breakfast. He made our stay excellent!

Staff that we did meet were friendly enough.

Comfortable room with great view over the harbour. The Old Inn is handy for evening meals. They offer a very varied breakfast buffet. I loved the idea of an honesty bar. I must try that next time.

From the heady scent of fresh lilies in the entryway, to all the artwork on the walls to the matching copper coat hangers and wall sconces, every bit of our stay was a delight to all our senses. If that weren't enough, our host-cooked breakfast was equally enchanting. One of our top guest house experiences ever.

I had been out on the hills in Torridon and due to poor weather on the hills I arrived about 2 hours after the time I had previously indicated on my booking. When I checked in I said that I assumed that I was too late for dinner and was told that the chef could do me a meat and cheese platter in the bar. The meal was excellent.
At check in I explained that I needed to leave as soon as soon as possible after breakfast. At breakfast it was the same lady that had been at reception the previous evening and she did an excellent job in providing my breakfast as quickly as possible.
The location is stunning and I will return again for a family visit.

We had a spacious room with a large window overlooking the sea. We could open windows to let in fresh air. The full breakfast served was very good. We were able to have dinner in the restaurant also.
Located beside the picturesque Loch Maree, this hotel was built in 1872 and once hosted Queen Victoria as a guest.

Serene location, great ambience, very good food, very clean and comfortable
Very secluded which adds to it's charm. Farm shop, small supermarket, chemist, museum, tourist information and cafe's and restaurants all available.
Roads are small and rough but charming once you get used to them.
Beautiful views but most of all the people are friendly, helpful and charming.
Only problem was too busy with tourists to get a restaurant at the weekend.
Also, part of the NC500 so expect delays in Summer.

Great place with spectacular, inspiring scenery, a nice little town with good facilities, nice cafe and farm shop as well as an excellent museum. The only downside when we visited was the local chippy only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!😊

Gairloch is an easily accessed centre from which to explore the western Highlands; it also has some very acceptable sandy beaches. There are plenty of hotels and B&Bs in Gairloch, but many are closed in winter.

Glass bottomed boat trip to see the seals highly recommended...
Glass bottomed boat trip to see the seals highly recommended. Knowledgeable skipper who allowed some of the children to drive the boat and earn a certificate.
Gairloch Museum, in a former nuclear bunker, is really well laid out and interesting for adults and children. The café is great too, with a view from its terrace.
Don't miss Inverewe Garden, and allow several hours to walk around this surprising collection of trees & plants which really shouldn't be able to thrive here! Great views too.
Booked the family room for two adults and a four year old. The second bed was a single so definitely enough room for the three of us. The bathroom was a good size and room looked out over the lake. Plenty of parking at the hotel. The grounds and area around the hotel offer great scenery. The food there was excellent. We had the “tasting menu” with matching wines for dinner and is really worth trying. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating.
Lovely location in Gairloch, only a five minute drive from the pier for excursions. Emma was a great host with lots of breakfast options, with a lovely modern and clean room overlooking the bay. Living room was nice spot to hang out in the evening, and a few options for dinner within walking distance too. Would come again!
The breakfast was a true delight - no grease and packed full of taste. Superb facilities and staff were friendly, polite and gave the impression that they were happy to help with any query. Stunning views as well, especially if you catch a break in the weather and have a sunny day over the Gairloch!
We had a great time in Gairloch in Little Haven ! The hosts were super nice and helpful, espcially when our daughter had a medical issue. They phoned the emergency number, a neighbourh and the doctor for us and were very careful.
The appartement is very cosy and the house close to wonderful places
The view, the view, and the view. A few steps and you're literally in the water, much, much closer than local hotels. We slept with the window cracked open to listen to the sea. We will be back next year for sure. Gairloch is a stunning place in its own right with everything you need.
Truly one of a kind, full of characters and history, beautiful and extremely well maintained inside and out, but the best part about our stay was the impeccable service. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive! Also loved the game room with the pool table!
Very much appreciated the later check in which allowed me to make the most of the dry weather. Lovely comfortable accommodation. Very clean and cosy. Slept soundly. Has great views in good weather. Close to all the spots I wanted to photograph. Nice hosts.
We appreciated the space and cleanliness of the room. The owners of this B&B are very kind (once again thanks for everything!). They think of everything. This B&B is also very close to the starting points of some interesting hikes near Gairloch.
The hotel is located in a strategic position close to the harbour. The rooms are big and comfortable. The restaurant is very good and the people working there really kind. Super breakfast in the morning.
There is a restaurant/bar on-site with excellent food. Loved the outside patio near the old bridge. The staff was pleasant and we had fun with the other guests. Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent staff, a real strength of the hotel. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Lovely view of the coast from our room. Very, very reasonable cost for both the room, bar and restaurant.
