L Di Casa G Dear guest, you will stay in a wonderful place of about 130 square meters, located inside the 16th century Berardi-Cesi-Muti building in the heart of Rome. The name of the street, Via del Gesù, has its origins from the nearby "church of Jesus". The building was built in 1565 by Giacomo Della Porta, a well-known architect and sculptor, a follower of Michelangelo. At the beginning of the 19th century, the building was purchased by the Marquis Filippo Berardi, senator of the Kingdom of Italy. He designated Pio Piacentini, a well-known architect of the time, to renovate the entire building. To access the place you will walk through a large arched portal under the inscription "Filippo Berardi". You will then pass through a huge courtyard with statues reaching a wonderful water clock. The three-level accommodation that hosts you is part of this entire historical context. On the ground floor you will find a large refrigerator and in the first bathroom equipped with a washing machine/dryer. Going up the stairs you access the living area. There are two sofas both convertible into a bed, a smart TV, an air purifier, a bathroom with toilet and bidet and a kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances (oven, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, mocha, dishwasher and a small refrigerator) ATTENTION THIS ROOM HAS NO WINDOWS!!! Going up the stairs to the third floor we will find a bathroom with shower and the sleeping area with two double bedrooms equipped with a Queen size bed. In the master bedroom there is the 4th bathroom with whirlpool bath. The house is not suitable for elderly people given the many steps!
