We are a couple, our names are Antonio and Isabella, we have two kids (one is 8 and one is 5). We both were born in Rome and since then we have been living in this wonderful city with the exception of a couple of years when Antonio used to live in London. We like travelling and we love meeting people all around the world. Like most Italian males Antonio likes soccer and sport in general, while Isabella loves shopping and hanging around with friends. Antonio: (who is writing) I'm very interested in history and wherever I go I wanna know the history of that place. I believe Italian food is one of the best in the world, since I've experienced Italian food in other countries too, I can say for sure that here it's completely different! What I like the most is giving tips and advises, maybe in another life I used to be a guide or something :)

Rione Monti Suites is a cosy new guesthouse located in the heart of Rome in the Rione Monti area in an elegant historical building. An ideal central and historical area, Monti is the first of the 22 rioni of Rome and is characterized by typical roman shops, art galleries, wineries, not to mention great restaurants and cafés. Located just behind Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, and walking distance from key attractions as the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia, this prime location is just two minutes away on foot from Cavour Metro stop (B line). The A line metro stops of Barberini, Repubblica are also easily accessible as well as Termini where you both metro lines (line A and B) can be accessed. The close proximity to Via Nazionale, Via Cavour and Via del Corso is a paradise for shopaholics.

Neighbourhood information

An ideal central and historical area, Monti is the first of the 22 “rioni” of Rome and is characterized by typical roman shops, art galleries, wineries, not to mention great restaurants and cafés. Near the apartment, less than 5 minutes walk distance, you can find the Subway Station (Metro) “Cavour” (B line) and about 10 minutes by foot to get to “Repubblica” (A line). Termini Station is walking distance too, less than 10 minutes, there you can catch train, bus, taxi and both metro lines A & B.
