Located in the Tuscan hills and surrounded by nature, the ancient medieval village of Orciatico gives you a very unique experience of true Italian living. Surrounded by breathtaking views and yet only an hour away from all the main cities, Florence, Pisa, Sienna and the coast it is the ideal location to unwind after a busy day sightseeing. Relax in the bar and enjoy a glass of local wine for no more than l.20 euro. There is free wifi in the bar and no purchase is necessary to use it. The local people will make you feel very welcome. All linens are included in the price. A car is essential here. The apartment is located only five minutes by car from the Teatro del Silenzio where Andrea Bocelli performs every year in July.
I have been retired here from the U.K for the past elevin years and have never looked back. This is a little portion of paradise and I love to share my experiences with my guests.
The neighbourhood is surrounded by nature of every kind and it is not uncommon to encounter deer, wild boar, owls and many other small creatures whilst out exploring.
