Right in the heart of Cusco. So convenient. We've stayed several places in Cusco over our 3 weeks, and this hostel with private bath exceeded them all. Not only was it comfortable and convenient location, but they had double doors that closed at night and it was extremely quiet! This was a blessing to us after so many sleepless nights with all night celebrations. The staff were friendly, attentive, and amazing. The kitchen made the BEST chicken soup.

This hotel is an excellent choice for a stay in Cusco. It's walking distance to the main square but far enough to be able to sleep at night. The room was comfortable, there is working hot water and heating available. The wifi was excellent everywhere in the building. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable, especially Richard Cruz Castro, the manager. Additionally the breakfast was varied and delicious. If I ever find myself back in Cusco I'll be staying here again.

FAQs about hotels in Cusco

Timeless Incan Capital

Although it's considered the oldest inhabited city of the Americas and Peru's historical capital, neither of these truly describes the magic enchantment and colorful people of Cuzco. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its current shape is the colonial result of building on top of many Incan sites, a good example of which is the Cathedral of Santo Domingo.

Must-see places include the walled complex of Sacsayhuamán and the remains of the main temple of Coricancha, dedicated to the Sun God, Inti. For longer Cuzco stays, hotels nePlaza de Armas central square are ideal to fully enjoy the city. Due to its 11,150-foot altitude, some Cuzco hotels offer oxygen to help their guests.

Moray, supposedly an ancient experimental agricultural station, is 29 miles away, and Lake Titicaca is 240 miles away. The road to Machu Picchu is the famous Inca Trail or "Camino Inca," which encompasses settlements, different Andean environments, and many Incan ruins.

Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport offers services to Lima. Arriving at Wanchaq Train Station or Terminal Terrestre de Cusco bus station are also popular choices. Come to visit the ancient jewel, enjoy Peru and Cuzco with the hotel deals available on Booking.com!

Cusco is a beautiful city, it is at approx 11,000 feet above sea level. i would strongly recommend u stay in the City center if your physically limited. We stayed for 3 nights before taking the train to Aguas Calientes. The HOTEL is nice, its perched up a little on the hillside, car-taxi is very limited with such small roads. If you have a disability or are elderly, IMO this hotel is not for you. Major steps up hill, could be a problem. The setting is beautiful, the sunsets and the early morning looking out at the City, the staff is GREAT, helped me with a forgotten item. OVERALL, it was a great stay in a beautiful city.

    Inca history is footsteps away.

Inca history is footsteps away. Sacsayhuaman, Q'enko, Koricancha, Tambomachay, Pukapukara, Templo de la Luna, Tipon, Rumicolca, Pikillacta, etc... and head into the sacred valley for more, ending up at Machu Picchu.. Many Museums to visit - Inca Museo, MAP, Cocoa Museo, Pachacutec, etc...The Peruvian food is exceptional. I ate at Uchu Argentinian Steak 4.9 star, Yaku 5.0 star, Fuego Burgers 4.7 star, Cafe D'Wasi (breakfast), Paddy's and Molly's Irish Taverns, Pizza del Carlos, all exceptional !!! Sunday's visit the San Pedro Market or any of the Churches.

Cusco has a beautiful city center - the older central part - with well maintained colonial buildings and churches. The air is really clean - only draw back is if you have issues with the altitude so come prepared to move a bit slower and to lose some time if so. There's a lot of things you can do nearby the city. We didn't have that much time so privileged things within the city center and still had a wonderful time. We visited the plaza Mayor which is surrounded by very well kept colonial buildings, from there you can get to the Inca museum which museum that has artifacts and information of the inca culture. I would skip if short on time, but if looking for something to do near the plaza - definetly give it a go. Also visited Qorikancha, a beautiful monastery that was built on top of an old Inca Shrine. Very nice and worth a visit. We visited the San Pedro market which is basically a market that sells everything (from meat and fruit to souvenirs) - there's also a small artisans market "Feria artesanal Marquez de San Francisco" - it's closer to the plaza de armas (near plaza San Francisco), would recommend this more if you're only looking for souvenirs. Also the food in Peru is delicious, you can find wonderful restaurants, that's always a plus. We went to a couple of restaurants in the city center and none disappointed.

    Cusco is very interesting. Multicultural.

Cusco is very interesting. Multicultural. I believe it is the most cosmopolitan city in Peru and also the most visited. Great restaurants, receptive people and tourists from everywhere. You always hear a different language next to you. The city tours are interesting and there are numerous tour agencies to help you. But the highlight really goes to the cuisine and historical value of the city.

The main plaza was great for events and the centre was easy to walk around. On your first day, take it easy (especially if you flew in from Lima). Book your excursions from the agencies, not the people on the streets.

    Amazing city.

Amazing city. It feels like you’re traveling back in time to the 15 century or even older times. Many tours and places to explore. But please be mindful that this city locates in the mountain above 3400 meter sea level. You need to give yourself sometime to adjust to the altitude. If you’ve never been here, it’s definitely a life changing experience you must have. I personally recommend the neighborhood in San Blas. Very quiet and a bunch of selected shops to walk around. But don’t push yourself if you just arrive the city. You can find it difficult to breach if you’re not yet used to the altitude.

The locations is excellent, close to the nice area of San Blas. The rooms are very comfortable and views from the restaurant are stunning. However, the absolute best thing about the hotel was the owner, Daniel. He went out of his way to help us with many things during our trip, he also helped us plan different excursions around Cusco. His kind personality and helpfulness definitely made our stay in Cusco memorable and very smooth.

A nice cosy little hotel near San Blas area and also quite close to the main square. Nice garden where the sun hits in the morning. Great helpful staff, the ladies that made us breakfast were so nice.. Breakfast was fine; white bread, egg, fresh fruits and freshly made juice. Warm beverages. Also fine rooms and almost allways hot water (runs on gas, so depends on that)
