The staff did above and beyond. Our flight was red eye and arrived early and we asked the front desk if it's possible to check in early just and they said they will try their best at least at noon. so, we waited at the lobby as breakfast was getting ready to put away, one of the kitchen staff, I wish I remembered her name was awfully nice and serve us breakfast. That was a great start. We knew then that we booked at the right hotel. We are a member. I booked 2 reservations. My sister and mom also arrived early. And, we asked for an adjoining room, and they said, it's not available.
So, finally our room was ready and belly full. We went to our room, and I saw it was an adjoining room. The cleaning crew just got done with that room and I asked if its empty and available and they said yes. Nice housekeeping crew, very polite and accommodating. So, I went down to the front desk and ask if we could have that room and it is ready. She said, somebody is checking in that room. So, we were bummed. My elderly mom and we waited at the lobby for at least 30 minutes then the front desk said that the manager said we can have the adjoining room. Yay!!! What a fabulous start.
The breakfast is impressive. The only negative is the coffee. Most hotels we stayed; coffee stays out all morning. I mean, we travel a lot for work. I don't speak for me but for the flight attendant that came in at 9.10 and everything was put away to include the Coffee. She was not happy, she said she is 60 years old, and she need her coffee lol.
I love the location because it is short walk to my daughter that lives in the Bevel Apartment. The reason, we were there is because she graduated at CUNY Law on the 23rd. Some of our family member stayed at other hotels in the area and ours is the best of all. We are pretty happy and satisfied from our stay.
Great Staff, very clean, great selection/ choices on breakfast and great kitchen and housekeeping staff.

I was born in Queens, but always enjoy the short visits.
I was born in Queens, but always enjoy the short visits. There truly is a lot to do. Short stays work great for me, because I am no longer accustomed to the constant non-stop hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, there are so many restaurants to choose from and so much history. Getting around Queens is easy. We either walked or used Uber. Yes, Uber can get expensive, but using that mode of transportation was worth it for us, since we would get dropped off in front of hotel.

The proximity of restaurants and other convenient stores was positive. However, from a young receptionists who doesn'even smile to the old looking and dirty rooms were all trash.
The Post Office would bring my mails to the receptionist inly to be told that they didnt know anybody by name so they returned 3 packages back. This hotel doesn't qualify to be in the United States. So disappionting.

Why were there so many taxes. Is it just the Ramada Hotel?
Why were there so many taxes. Is it just the Ramada Hotel? Why is there a hotel tax and a room tax in addition to city and state taxes? I did not incurr hotel and room taxes a year ago at a Holiday Inn in Queens.

Queens is more modern and you have plenty of choices for food. I'm an Asian and the food in Queens are little bit different than Chinatown so really depends on the preference.
One thing I do notice are Queens has more Malls, big malls so is easy to shop for clothing. And also the hotel cost and parking are little bit cheaper than downtown. If you don't mind to take metro, Queens are good option.

This Queens neighborhood around Queens Plaza is a "happening" one. Lots of food options, excellent Manhattan connectivity, Pedestrian pathway along Queensboro bridge offers Manhattan-visit on foot, weather permitting !
Public laundromats, "convenience" stores are in the neighborhood.
I didnt know what to expect when i booked this Hotel. It was my first time in Long Island City. The neighborhood was great. There were stores and restaurants within walking distance. You cant beat the distance to the subway. The room was incredible. If i could afford it, I would absolutely stay there again. The design was pretty cool. The floor to ceiling windows and the curtains around the outside of the room were a clever and impressive design feature. The hotel is very stylish overall and I had an excellent experience.
The carpets in the room need replacing. There was LOT of noise as my room was street facing at 3rd or 4th floor. The hotel is in downtown flushing and the area was great to walk around and cheap eats. I was there for overnight stay before catching international flights and paid nearly two hundred a night which is outrageous for what it was. The sheets were little old.
Very nice hotel in queens just across the bridge to Manhattan. We spent a couple of nights there to explore the city and it was perfect for this purpose - the rooms are really nice, comfy bed, friendly staff, nice restaurant (also for breakfast) and easily reachable public transport. On top of that we had a beautiful view over the Manhattan skyline.
We were delayed by weather and scrambling for a hotel. We were able to get a room here, and it was our refuge! The next day, the staff held our luggage as we explored The City, and them we took the free shuttle to the airport! A perfect ending to what could have been a nightmare travel story! Thank you, Booking.com and Springhill Suites!
it is in a convenient location near by all kind of different restaurants. The room Rate is very reasonable and Has good size of room and clean Hotel, stuff is very friendly. 2 miles to LaGuardia airport. in the center of Flushing. I would suggest other to stay here when you visit Flushing Next time.
The best part was the staff. I've stayed at 6 different hotels over the past year and every one of them I had a bad experience. This hotel has a great staff and that made the difference. I go to Long Island City for work and will stay here again as well as have my co-workers stay here.
Awesome Hotel with no traffic! I am heading back to NYC in a few weeks and plan on staying in LOng Island City again I'm sad that there are no rooms available for the weekend I will be there! But I will for sure be back and I will tell all my people!!
Located in Chinatown Queens district there was a hustle vibe on the streets. Very comfortable bed and luxury bathroom on 6 th floor. Cheap Chinese taxi firm to airport organised by hotel way cheaper than even Uber. Recommend pre booking however.
The hotels website CLEARLY indicates that breakfast is included. There was NOT ANY BREAKFAST. I complained to the staff to no avail. The staff said that Booking.com didn't want them to correct the website. Very crappy if true.
The converted paper factory was located in a nice quiet Queens location, a great family hotel.
The subway stop 36th street was just 100m away, super easy to get into Manhattan. Hotel staff was really helpful 5 stars!

Door to Door .. 25min subway ride & walk to 32nd St etc ... great location & value
This is an adequate no frills hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. The location is great - right next to Queensboro Plaza and Queens Plaza, with access to many subway lines. Easy from JFK.
Nice location in Long Island City. Very close to multiple metro stations. Many good restaurants, cafe, markets near the hotel. Good facilities (gym, self laundry, lounge). Nice view from rooftop
Very clean hotel nice bedroom and sheets! There’s a airplane shuttle but only runs every hour. very close to downtown Flushing only 10 min walk to places like New World Mall
Great breakfast for my family for 4 nights.
I asked for water drainage repair but they kindly fixed it quickly.
I recommend this hotel for those who visit Queens.
