I have been coming to Gatlinburg for years and even worked there when I was in college during the summers. The city is not what it used to be and more like a big distillery and tshirt shops. The only area which I still like is The Village and The Craft Loop. They need to go back to their roots and remember that is why people visited there. Gatlinburg is beautifully surrounded by Mountains. It is truly a place full of entertainment for everyone and yet a place so close to get away from it all and enjoy nature at its best. It is such a unique town full of amazing artists that inhabit this great place. This is our go to place to get away. We live about 3 hours away so we go several times a year. Nothing bad to say, Crowds are always changing, but always something to do.
