Noah Creek Eco Huts
Cape Tribulation (5 mi from Cape Tribulation)Located in Cape Tribulation in the Queensland region and Thornton Beach reachable within 1.2 miles, Noah Creek Eco Huts provides accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free...Guest reviewThe whole place was magical. We loved bathing in the outdoor shower and bath surrounded by tropical plants. We were here not long after cyclone Jasper hit, so most places in Daintree were closed and there were no other guests. We had to cancel a few tours we booked because of the cyclone but we think that was a blessing in disguise since it gave us time to relax, cook delicious meals in the outdoor kitchen, cool off in the swimming hole a few minutes walk away, walk north along the closed road, helped clear some of the deadfall along one of the trails (we volunteered). There were so many different rainforest sounds in the day and at night. The 5 nights we were there we didn’t use our car to get anywhere, other than when we arrived and left! We will be back one day in the future.

Great to stay with your own car and to explore.
Great to stay with your own car and to explore. We loved our own fishing spots and freshwater swimming holes. The Daintree ice cream factory is great. You must walk around and see their fruit trees. The ‘Crocodile Express’ company, specifically is fantastic- 2 trips to upper and lower rivers on the Daintree (near the river crossing) is amazing. $39 for two different trips. Over 2 1/2 hrs- it’s value that other companies don’t offer.RGuest review byRobert RachelAustralia

PK's Jungle Village
I stayed in the Daintree without a car. PK's was therefore an excellent location for me. I was able to reach the nearby stunning beach (Cape Tribulation) in a few minutes and there were extensive walks on boardwalks through unspoilt tropical rainforest and mangroves, which were incredible. There was a shop next door with a range of foods and souvenirs. I enjoyed excellent meals and drinks in PK's restaurant/bar area and I also loved swimming in the pool. The staff were very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there very much.SGuest review bySylviaAustralia - 9.2

Coconut Beach House
Excellent location, very close to Cape Tribulation by car. Access to beautiful 'private' beach. Sofia was extremely helpful and prompt in dealing with our queries. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Great experience of 'off grid' living.SGuest review bySallyUnited Kingdom - 8.7

Ferntree Rainforest Lodge
Great location, walking distance to the starting point of reef tours at cape tribulation. Also walking distance to restaurants and a beautiful swimming home. The hotel was adequate, with a comfortable bed, nice hotel pool, beautiful rainforest surroundings, and an onsite restaurant. Also plenty of free parking and friendly staff. The room also had a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and mini fridge.JGuest review byJessicaAustralia - 8.6
Daintree Deep Forest Lodge
We arrived really late as we had to take a huge detour due to a closed road. The lady checking us in gave us excellent directions and advice, and stayed up to greet us and show us around. We decided to stay an extra night and she offered us another room (smaller than the one we booked) but she would not charge us for it. She is really the sweetest host. The resort is wonderful and quiet, and you're in the middle of the rainforest, just stunning. Short drive to Cape Tribulation and cafes and restaurants.EGuest review byEszterAustralia - 6.5
PK's Jungle Village
It was great staying at PK's again. Stayed there 24 years ago on a backpacking trip, and it hasn't changed much. Staff was a little different with previous trip being more friendly and kind, but it was no biggie. Hard to beat staying anywhere in beautiful Cape TribulationRGuest review byRyanUnited States - 8.3

Cape Trib Beach House
Highly recommend waking up early to see the sunrise - we saw sharks and sea turtles just outside the resort on the beach. Kangaroo fillet steak was delicious. Love Cape Tribulation - such a beautiful place - and saw a cassowary and its two chicks at sunset as we were driving thereYGuest review byYvonneAustralia - 8.4
Cape Trib Beach House
Fantastic location just at the end of the road, steps away from the beach! Only a very short drive to where most tours depart in Cape Tribulation. The pool was very nice, the restaurant good, and the cabin we stayed in (St Crispins) was private and so close to the beachjGuest review byjoelleCanada
