Hotels near Aberdour Castle, Aberdour

Aberdour is a lovely village right on the train line from Edinburgh. We really enjoyed the hotel with its comfortable rooms, great staff and tasty food. We would like to visit again.

The staff were extremely friendly. Check in was super quick and easy and their breakfast was good too! The rooms were comfortable and clean!

The positive energy of this place is off of the charts. Clean, comfortable, and quiet, it is the perfect stay. The staff and owner are so welcoming and go out of the way to provide attention to all details. I simply am at a loss for words. Highly recommend the Auld Mill House. And you support small business.

It was a nice traditional pub and an excellent restaurant. The staff were fantastic.

Great location, nice spacious room/bathroom, very friendly staff! The restaurant is excellent!

Perhaps the best restaurant I have ever eaten in. The chicken haggis burger was amazing. Breakfast, best I’ve had in years.

This older hotel has been recently updated and modernized. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower offered a combination of a rain shower and mounted handheld showerhead. The location was close to the bus station and local shops and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the park and abbey. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The location and the state of the room

Easy check-in. Wonderful staff. Clean room. Bar and restaurant on site with lots of options. Just steps off the Fife Coastal Path.

I enjoyed everything about my stay

The staff was very accommodating and the hotel was lovely, clean and cosy. Also perfect for families as there were bigger rooms.

It’s a bit out of Edinburgh so if you don’t want to spend lots on a taxi, check out train options to Kinghorn. The bus takes a very long time! The hotel is great - and in such a beautiful location. You couldn’t ask for better staff, especially Susie, the manager. Her level of service, hospitality and warmth is exceptional.

Loved the eight foot ceilings!

The staff was very kind, the room was clean and the temperature suitable for children. The breakfast was very tasty and available for all requirements. We will definitely come back

Ali was incredibly helpful and kind at all times. We also loved the room and location. Very close to a bus station that took us straight to the city center.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, convenient location near the bus stop.

Property was located right next to Queens ferry bridge and location has got amazing views of the bridge.

The staff were lovely and helpful! Location was great especially since we were attending a festival and local taxi services were efficient. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful property. Comfortable beds.

Love the pub downstairs and the bath was amazing!

The vibe and aesthetic of the place was lovely. The rain shower too was love Spacious

The premises are kept clean. Had no issues with the room overall good for cost ratio. A good stay to explore around Scotland.

Staff. Ryan helped get our gps working for us where we had failed. A big help when traveling with a rental car. Thanks Ryan. Kitchen staff made us toast and tea when we were a little late for breakfast time hours. Cafeteria staff ordered us a lunch sandwich in mid afternoon after we had checked in. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff was welcoming. There was luggage storage for early arrival. Room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning had 4-5 hot options to choose from like full Scottish, eggs on toast, or eggs Benedict, plus a number of cold options like cereal, fruit and yogurt as well. There are two bars, a breakfast area, and a restaurant. The location is walking distance to everything.
