I love the old English feel to the property. It was gorgeously redone and upgraded while keeping the aesthetic of the century in which it was built. The food was amazing. Staff was friendly and upbeat. Room was cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quaint and quiet.

Great location in a small, pretty historic town. Location is very quiet - but walking distance to some nice pubs / the canal. Very short drive / (or train ride) to Bath and reasonable to drive to other nice hiking / historic locations (cotswolds, stonehenge, avebury). Owners went above and beyond making me feel welcome / helping out.

The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was very good and the dog was made welcome with a saussage every morning. Staff were very friendly. The grounds were lovely and it was nice to be able to sit outside and have a communal kitchen available with equipment.
