The host was friendly and greeted me with hospitality. The room was super clean and cared with details. The bath also was clean and comfortable. My stay was in December and the room was warm. The bath also was warm. Everything was well maintained.

    It is an exceptional site for understanding the opulence of...

    It is an exceptional site for understanding the opulence of life 2000+ years ago. Some of the mosaics are detailed and exquisite. The women playing sports in bikini attire 2000+ years in the past was a treat to see in mosaics. I first went there more than 20 years ago and the site has been extensively developed. Highly recommended.

    It is possible to walk to the Villa from Piazza Armerina (...

    It is possible to walk to the Villa from Piazza Armerina (there's no pavement/sidewalk but the road isn't busy and the signposting is good) but I wouldn't recommend doing so when the weather is hot. There is a "navetta" (shuttle bus) that sets off from the area in the new town where the buses from the rest of the island arrive and I'd recommend using that.

    It is absolutely fabulous. Went there 3 years in a row ? Arrive very early to park close to the entrance. Discover as among much other things that Roman women were wearing bikinis when needed. Sorry but this not an US invention.

    Beautiful, new B&B, I had a large quiet room, good Internet ,walk in shower,in a great location in the old center, great walkability. There were many choices for breakfast, and a choice of times to eat. The host was very helpful and friendly suggesting things to see in the city center and helping me plan to go to Villa Romana del Casale on the bus. He even offered me a ride, twice, because I wanted to arrive before the first bus.

    If you are looking for, maybe one of the best views, ever, of Piazza Armerina then this is the place! Overall I'd say this was a great property, private parking, walkable (if you like a long walk, which I do) to Piazza Armerina and not far from Villa Romana Del Casale. The host was great, the place is definitely a bit eclectic and dated but there was plenty of space, everything was pretty clean, there was a nice breakfast I didn't really stay to enjoy and other very friendly guests.

    This is such a beautiful place. We stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed for longer! The apartment was clean, comfortable and beautiful inside. The host was friendly and accommodating. The view was amazing. It's 15 minutes from Villa Romana del Casale.

    Good location to easily reach both Piazza Armerina and Villa Romana del Casale. The location is nice, despite the main road above (the noise is not a problem in the room). The hosts were all very welcoming and warm, happy to share a moment to talk with you.

    Very convenient/central location. Modernized rooms. The breakfast was excellent, especially the fruits. The hosts Giuliana and Giuseppe were exceptional. They treated me like family, and on my last day, showed me a bit more of the town and had dinner with me at one of the best pizza spots in Piazza Amerina! They also offered me a nice tour of the Villa Romana del Casale and Caltagirone. They made my stay a homely one.

    This charming and handsome old country manor was the family home of a very nice lady who now owns and manages it as an agriturismo B&B. The grounds, including a pool, are a pleasure to explore and wander in. Breakfast is ample (including fresh eggs from the property’s free-ranging chickens) and the dinners, for an additional charge, are delicious examples of Sicilian cuisine served in a spacious dining room. The location is very convenient to the Villa Romana del Casale (Mosaic House) and the town of Piazza Armerina.

    Very welcoming and flexible with our slight delay in check-in. Helpful with information about the area, especially the drive in and parking which google maps was confused about. Interesting and old part of town very near the Duomo, but also close to restaurants and shops. Great overnight after visiting the Villa Romana del Casale.

    The room was large and clean and was a throwback to the 1960's even though the building itself was hundreds of years old. The room had a terrace opeining on the pizza and we could watch the performance from our room. We came to see Villa Romana del Casale for the extraordinary Roman mosaics and the hotel was only a few miles away. It was a very nice breakfast and the staff was attentive. Wonderful restaurant around the corner.
