I stayed at a traditional Japanese ryokan, Kurama Onsen, Kyoto, and it was a very relaxing experience. The location is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. The ryokan has a very calm and traditional feel, with tatami rooms and futon beds. The onsen (hot spring) was the best part! The outdoor bath lets you enjoy warm water while looking at the trees and mountains. It feels amazing, especially in cool weather. The indoor bath is also nice and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing stay. Actually wanted to cancel the remaining of my osaka and tokyo trip and just relax here. Definitely worth the price. Breakfast and dinner is served (delicious 👌🏼) it’s not too crowded. You can experience traditional Japanese. The short walk from the bus station to the place adds up to the experience. Special thanks to Youshun for attending to our needs. We did not need to ask. He has the initiative to provide us with what we need. Very friendly and considerate 💯😊

An amazing property with Michelin level meals, outstanding customer service from the staff, wonderful facilities and views. We will definitely be back here again in the future. This is an authentic onsen. The baths are amazing and the hotel also has pop ups that support local vendors.
