This is an amazing hotel. From the minute you walk in the door, everything is so well thought out. The staff are all friendly, amazing, helpful and committed. The accommodation, restaurants, sports facilities, pools - everything is just so spot on. This has been a lovely 10 days at Vilalara. Highly recommended !!

The best thing about this property was an incredible staff member on reception named Carla. Personable, competent, informed, a star. The type of staff member that excels at everything she does. She was absolute magic.

The property was kept immaculately clean. The pool area was very nice. The breakfast room had a large variety of food to choose from. The rooms were spacious with a nice outdoor space. The location was a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. There were many restaurants close by.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We loved the location — close to everything we wanted to do, like the Benagil Caves, the Seven Hanging Valleys hike, and just a short drive to Albufeira. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and in a quiet village setting. The pool had a nice mix of families, which made it feel welcoming without being crowded. After long days of sightseeing or relaxing at the beach, it was the perfect place to come “home” to. Highly recommend!

    This hotel is all about Location. Just in front of a beautiful beach of the Algarve, which is often shown in photos and videos of the area. Also very close to the Algar Seco and very good restaurants. Close drive to many attractions in the Algarve, specially boat tours to the Benagil Cave. My tour was from nearby town Portimao.

    Wonderful stay. Catia was very welcoming and made our stay in Carvoeiro extra special. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent and her assistance with reservations and tour bookings was very helpful (the sunrise kayak tour of Benagil Cave was a trip highlight). The terrace was absolutely stunning and the breakfast options were fantastic. Highly recommend.

    The accommodation we booked for our Benagil cave kayak tour not only offered stunning sunset ocean views but also a beautiful beach as a bonus. Every aspect of the house was well-prepared, making it feel like home. Our family had a relaxing vacation, and we are grateful to the host, Ana. There are delicious restaurants nearby, just a 5 to 10-minute Uber ride away, and a small supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Definitely a satisfying place to stay again!

    The hotel was located in the middle of several beaches (20 min to Lagos, 20 min to Gale beach) so it was easy to visit the surrounding areas with our car. The cliffs and beaches smack in front of the hotel were spectacular (Benagil cave is one of them!). The staff went above and beyond for our daughter’s 5th birthday and they organized a lovely complimentary chocolate cake for her that was in our room with candles and birthday wishes. The buffet breakfast was a great addition to our stay as well.
