The rooms were very nice. The linens were nice. The housekeeping staff were awesome. All the staff downstairs were also incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It’s pretty conveniently located and we essentially walked everywhere. It was a little strange that you have to take one elevator to the third floor and then a different elevator to your room floor or the street level, depending upon which way you’re going. But that was really just a very minor thing.

    Love love love this area.

Love love love this area. Filled with tourists but it's so much livelier than the rest of the surrounding areas. There was always something interesting going on. If you like to people watch, this area is great! It's large so you can really plan a whole day around this area and hit all of the monuments. Have a picnic on the grass, look at the ducks and admire the duck ramps, go in and out of the surrounding museums, walk around sculpture gardens, etc. Would definitely go back! Also definitely go during the daytime but also during the night time. It's so pretty lit up.

Well, traveling to Washington DC. I was thrilled to be located in a historical hotel and was even more pleased when I found out that this was the site of assassination attempt. Although it was a bit further from the national mall than I had originally thought it was easy to navigate, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms left a little to be desired with the lobby was beautiful, and the complementary water was nice on the hot summer days. I would return happily and plan to stay there again seven out of 10 recommend

The hotel was just what we needed. A relatively convenient location and a quieter part of town versus our previous hotel that was closer to the National Mall. Loved having a kitchen and sitting area during our stay and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was great. I would definitely choose to stay at this property again.

The hotel is in a wonderful location — close to Union Station, the Capitol, and the National Mall. The reception staff is very friendly and welcoming. There’s a cozy guest "living room" where you can prepare free coffee or tea using the machine, and there’s also a water dispenser available. The room was very nice and spacious, with plenty of towels, a bathrobe, amenities, and a fridge. Each day, we received bottled water, and upon arrival, we got a voucher for one free drink at the Irish restaurant located in the hotel.

Breakfast buffet was ok, not incredible, but good for the price. The location is very good if you plan to walk over to the National Mall and all the museums. Close to Ronald Reagan Airport. Downsides are the limited options of restaurants in the vicinity and even worst the restaurants including the Starbucks in the hotel closes early. Besides all that, a good hotel.

The location was great near the capital. We road scooters or the metro all through the national mall. They got us a parking pass and we were able to park on the street near the apartment.

Great location close to the White House, metro station, and walking distance to the national mall. Lots of dining, bakery and coffee options close by. Very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff and comfortable bed! We upgraded to the queen suite so that we had a little more room to escape the heat and enjoyed the extra space. Would stay here again for sure!

Location for family of two parents and two 20-somethings was perfect. Very walkable to the National Mall. Wonderful restaurant in the hotel (Arrels, Spanish) and lots of choices in the area. Our room was lovely but our daughters' was better...a corner room with spectacular views. Definitely ask for a corner room.

We liked everything: comfortable bed and pillows, stylish and clean bathroom, the view! Breakfasts were good as well. The hotel is located on a neat, not busy street, close to restaurants, pharmacy, and transportation. It takes around half an hour to get to the National Mall.
