- From $147.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.8Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 912 reviewsBeautiful grounds, hotel and destination. Very peaceful and incredible food. The staff were outstanding and were extremely helpful. The cucumber water upon arrival was definitely refreshing after a long drive. The fried breakfast was amazing! Perfectly cooked and delicious. We enjoyed a morning swim in the pool which had a very Spanish/Greek feel to the surrounding area. The pool was at a perfect temperature and the chairs were handy for getting our son ready. I would definitely recommend it. Beautiful architecture for any age to appreciate, very family friendly and also very romantic for couples.Guest review byFrankie24692United Kingdom

Never got a chance to see the town of Lyndhurst and surrounding area We drove down from Warwickshire and it was just a stopgap and unpleasant rest place where we stayed, before we caught the ferry from Lymington to the isle of Wight. So sorry I cannot comment on the surrounding area.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Such a great location to travel around New forest or just to stay and relax in burley itself. Plenty of lovely pubs ,cafes, little niche shops and beautiful walks surrounding burley . Daily visits from horses , cows and donkeys. Great location to visit Isle of Wight.Guest review byjustine - 8.0
A quiet small village with friendly people.
A quiet small village with friendly people. Good to use as a base. Easy drive to the forest, Brockenhurst, Burly, Lyndhurst and Milford On Sea etc. Great breakfast at the Sway Deli. There's two pubs to choose from and there's the lovely Manor Hotel if you fancy a posh meal.Guest review byPoonamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beaulieu is a lovely area and if you like horses and donkeys you will love it. The village i itself is very clean and pretty with lots of lovely places for coffee etc. All the people I met wee extremely friendly and helpful. There is also the Motor museum and other places to see but we were mostly cycling around and it’s great for thatGuest review byGiselleUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The Lodge was beautifully appointed, spacious & decorated very tastefully. Extra large deck overlooking a wildlife lake with Duck & Swan food provided. Location was perfect to explore the New Forest and the facilities around the holiday village were awesome. Great communication from the lodge hosts & reasonably priced for such a lovely place to stay. Will definitely re-book when we return to England.Guest review byAlisonAustralia - 10.0

We were disappointed that the pier ferry wasn't working but the pier and the train were very interesting - lots of plaques on the pier with interesting information and lots of inscriptions on the planks on the pier. The town was very nice - a surprising number of different shops in such a small area. The town centre and pier within very easy walking distance from the Boathouse hotel. Good meals served there with a good selection at reasonable prices.Guest review byMonicaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us. Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete. We certainly come back here! Don’t forget to visit Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and the beautiful Bucklers Hard. There is a nice pub and good food!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Very pretty location and easy access to New Forest but the Lodge we stayed in had no living area and a tiny Kitchen diner not really suitable for more than two although meant for four people. The Lodge was very clean with nice decor but just lacked the comfort as no where to sit other than bedroomsGuest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We cannot recommend Lyndhurst House enough!
We cannot recommend Lyndhurst House enough! It is such a beautiful house with charming and unique rooms. It felt very homely, and our hosts, Alison and Nick, were incredibly kind and helpful, recommending great places to eat and even suggesting a route for one of our days. The breakfast was delicious and very filling - definitely worth it! We enjoyed freshly cooked dishes, as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt, and the usual coffee and tea. We stayed on the upper floor and had the best night’s sleep, as it was very quiet there. Everything was spotless. A wonderful stay and a real gem - we will definitely be back!Guest review byAnonymous
