- From £125 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,893 reviewsI stay at Kilconquhar Castle Estate whenever I visit Fife for work and golf. It is in a perfect location close to many of the top golf courses in the world. The staff are always personable, accommodating, and helpful. The villas, although a bit dated, are perfect for golf holidays with a group of friends. We loved having the three-hole warm-up area available before hitting the links, as most Scots do not warm up before playing. The bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the links. I highly recommend the estate.Guest review byRichard P. AttishaCanada

Just went for a concert at the cathedral. That was walkable from our B and B, and we enjoyed the evening. Went to a small Chinese Restaurant called Fat Buddha quite nearby. It was more of a takeaway but fine to sit and eat in for an hour or more.Guest review byRozUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I did two Rabbies trips, one to Dunnator Castle and one to Dundee & St Andrews.I walked to Torry Battery to view the dolphins which was a good walk to see the harbour and wildlife below the cliffs. I also got the train for the short ride to Stonehaven (which I loved)lots of lovely walks around the town and a fantastic croissant shop.I went in the Maritime museum (which was directly opposite the Ibis hotel) that was brilliant.Overall I was very impressed with Aberdeen.Guest review byjoan sheilaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We were using Oban to access the Cal Mac ferry to Lismore, as my partner's dad is buried there. Everything went very smoothly and we had a nice sailing there and back. We enjoyed a couple of excellent meals at the Waterfront Sea Food Restaurant and ES-USK Seafood Restaurant. Enjoyed an evening of live music and a few drinks in The Oban Inn. Finished the trip off by visiting McCaig's Tower, with excellent views over the town, sea, and surrounding Islands.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The castle is an absolute must. We spent 6 hours there and enjoyed every minute. Do take the guided tour that is included in the entrance price. Get there early if you want to park at the castle although it’s not so far from the city centre - just uphill!!!Guest review byKeithUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
