Vibe. Yes the Vibe of the place is positive with everyone smiling and welcoming. This is very important for me where ever i travel. It’s a amazing place almost close to city centre and a just few minutes walk from the bus station where the bus #300 comes from the airport, while going back to airport ask the reception where you can catch the 300 # bus to airport- it’s just 1 minute from the hotel. The breakfast is awesome with all healthy stuff ( thumbs up for the smoked salmon and natural yogurt) The room is clean and has crisp clean nice bedding, the bathroom too is clean and non smelly. The staff is very welcoming, caring and friendly. I was specially impressed by Amie and Rogers the chef. They were very kind and extremely helpful. If ever i return back to this place, it will be to experience the hospitality of Amie and Rogers. Sofie on the reception was very sweet. Take my guarantee about this place- you will not be disappointed

The public transport system is excellent, apart from Bus221 service which runs every hour to The Giant Causeway. We planned to get back at 14.10hrs., but it was cancelled and we had to take a 15.30 hrs bus. The Giant is a tourism spot. The bus stand should have electrical board display of schedules and notification. Regrettably we lost the whole day and had not enough time for more sight seeing in the city centre.

Portrush is a typical old fashioned seaside resort but with the addition of now some more upmarket restaurants and more high end accommodation, but at least the old amusement fare is still there on the beach which I remember from my childhood pure nostalgia. Stayed at the Inn on the Coast around £159 per night including Breakfast but we did have our dog with with us which was a additional £30 per night, pretty good value in high season

Bushmills is an historic town, not only home to the eponymous whiskey, it is at the heart of the stunning North Antrim Coast with all its amazing attractions. It is also becoming a bit of a foodie hub with several fabulous restaurants such as The Townhouse and Tartine. Magden specialist cheese and coffee shop is a local icon. Bushmills Inn is a must. Splash out on an Irish coffee if the budget does not run to dinner or a stay. Mike’s cafe does excellent hearty daily roasts as well as Thai specials. Excellent Gallery and Craft shops. Easy travel links across the North Coast.
