- From $204.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 9,979 reviewsI am not sure why this hotel has such a low rating (7.9 at this moment). If you cross out the line to the restaurant in the early morning and a bit worn out parts of the interior, I really have absolutely zero issues with the place. We got lucky to stay in the top floor room of the main tower (36F) and it was amazing. Great room with a panoramic window, set up just right to enjoy it all. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We've enjoyed the breakfast very much (the main restaurant is the best). If you do not rush in the earliest hour - there is no line at all. If you do, the waiting time is just 10-15 minutes. The table reservation system is very clear and convenient, Great variety of food, a lot of new tastes for us Europeans. It's also a very convenient location, just a few meters from the Shinagawa station - everything you need is a few train stops away. Very quick connection with Haneda airport and the rest of the city.Guest review byAleksejLithuania

The view from the 18th floor was breathtaking! The breakfast was not included, we payed it in the morning. The offers on the breakfast menu were very high standard and tasty. The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect.Guest review byStefanGermany

Tokyo is a fascinating metropolis with more to see and do than can possibly be achieved in the two weeks we stayed there. We will be back to see and do more. Whether you want to stroll its many beautiful parks, or take in the incredible museums in the Ueno area, enjoy fine dining or basement lounges, or party hard in the high-energy Shinjuku or Shibuya areas, Tokyo has something for everyone. Getting around is easy on Tokyo's famous rail system. Asakusa is great for shopping and dining; you'll never run out of variety.Guest review byJessica - 10.0

Side city of tokyo not crowded by foreign tourists, Short distance from place with great nature like Hachioji castle ruins, mount takao and sagamiko. Also good shopping experience in downtown and neighboring cities.Guest review byIriyaaMalaysia - 10.0
Love this neighbourhood.
Love this neighbourhood. I lived in Japan for several years, 2 decades ago, and I have gone back a few times for a visit. First time for me to be in Tachikawa. It has great vibe, a bit of hustle bustle, but not crowded and suffocating like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Lots of shops and cheap restaurants. Not touristy at all and you can observe locals doing their everyday business if that is your thing.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Fuchu was a wonderful town to stay in on the outskirts of Tokyo. It has a slower, more relaxed atmosphere than central tokyo. The people were friendly and there was plenty to do and see. The tree lined main street leading to the temple was beautiful. And there were some local parks that were nice to walk to.Guest review bymitchUnited States - 10.0

Machida has everything you need for shopping plus the Odakyu Line into Shinjuku or the Yokohama Line into Yokohama if you need to hit the big time. Still comoared to most North American towns, Westerners will think Machida is HUUUUGE and super busy. For Kanto region I'd saw it's a hub for Kanagawa but manageable. Food choices at and around the station are excellent. Hotels are way cheaper than in central Tokyo yet you are only 30 to 60 mins on any train to wherever you need to go. Direct buses from Narita and Henda airports as well so no need to deal with hauling luggage on trains. Or just takyubin (courier) luggage to Mahcida from airport.Guest review byBDonutCanada - 8.0
The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities.
The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities. But you will likely need to rent a car to reach some of the more remote areas easily. There are buses and taxis, but you may have to wait quite a bit of time. Many of the restaurants will close during the afternoon and early evening, so be sure to have some snacks prepared or stay in a place with a kitchen.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
The city is literally amazing.
The city is literally amazing. Everything you could want is right there in your hotel or walking distance. Great cafes, izakayas, shopping, exploring-literally everything. Not as busy as some areas in Tokyo, and I fell in love. Will be back soon.Guest review byChristopherUnited States - 10.0

Tokyo is a combination of every great city that you could think of and more! Harajuku is a balance between underground and luxury design. The inner streets have all of the smaller shops that made the area popular. Residential areas are walkable and quiet despite all of the tourists. Tourist could get overwhelmed at first glance but after a day or two, they could navigate the many interesting alleyways like a pro! There's everything from themed Cafe's, fast food, to intimate spots to grab a bite and a drink so don't forget to look up! you might miss a hidden gem!Guest review byAletheaJapan - 10.0

Excellent location for shopping, I spent a lot of time browsing the shops and trying food, especially around Celeo by the station. The station is massive and you are able to conveniently go anywhere from there. My favourite place to eat was at Sherlock Holmes, close by to the station. They are fantastic, it's a great place to dine out and the food is amazing. The bakeries in the area are great as well, such as DONQ.Guest review byMaja. - 10.0

I went to Tachikawa for a concert at Tachikawa Stage Garden and it was my very first time visiting there. Life in Tachikawa seems to be a bit more laid-back than central Tokyo even though it's a big city as well. Meaning, you get to enjoy the convience and entertainment of what big cities offer, but it's a bit less crowded and less chaotic. Showa Kinen National Park is a great place. I spent two afternoons there to clear my head and connect with nature. Highly recommend. I'll definately be back for the unexplored spots such as the art museums and many eateries.Guest review byPei HsuanUnited Kingdom
