The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

This house was wonderful! Lovely, spacious and bright with tonnes of room and massive bedrooms, we went as a group of 6 girls and there was no waiting around for bathrooms which is always a bonus. The facilities were good, it had everything we needed. Location was excellent and we had no problem parking on the main road after 5 as we were out all day. I would highly recommend this place for families or friends.

No issues!

The apartment was in a great location being a 5 minute walk to the strip of shops, restaurants and public transport making it very convenient. Upon checking in there were a few goodies as a welcome gift, including milk. Always appreciated. Communication with Sophie (property manager) was prompt via WhatsApp and also appreciated especially over a long weekend.

We have not stayed in a basement apartment before and due to the heavy footsteps from the tenant in the apartment above during the day and night, we probably won't again. If stairs are an issue for you (not us) going down the stairs to the basement apartment may be a problem. TV did not work but Sophie promptly organised a technician to fix the issue but unfortunately he could not fix the streaming service which also was not working. Another technician came in the afternoon of that same day to fix that issue. For our inconvenience we received some more goodies. There is a booklet explaining how items in the apartment function/ how to operate appliances but in some instances not clear or correct. This has been pointed out to Sophie who was going to update this document for future tenants.

Nice hotel, clean, rooms are large, bed is comfortable and large. Reception desk very polite and available 244/7.

No breakfast served. Reception desk women wear islamic veil which I feel offended by, I would prefer a neutral personel.

On booking .com site, all rooms shown are spacious, bright and have an ocean view, the one we got (superior king - £200 for one night), was small and dark with a view of some bins. No chance of an upgrade, feel totally lied to and ripped off. This was meant to be a treat, and was just dissapointing. A warning, all rooms face the back of the hotel. Only appartments face the sea.

Good location near Petworth with beautiful countryside views, though not from our room.

The food is horrendous! Something going seriously wrong in the kitchen as we waited over 2 hours for our evening meal. The burger and fish and chips were OK, however the chicken shawarma flatbread was tasteless and dry and the base inedible. The Lamb Scrumpet was effectively dehydrated, had no flavor and the ‘fish tacos’ were actually pita bread quarters, with frozen fish goujons topped with some mango mayonnaise??? Never have a had a meal this poor. After waiting over half an hour to take a drinks order, requested a strawberry daiquiri but they had no strawberry syrup so requested Passionfruit which was not used in correct measures so the cocktail was not drinkable as far to sweet and sour. They staff were pleasant and apologetic and I get the feeling they were used to food and drink complaints. Accommodation is decorated nicely but need brighter bulbs in lamps for reading at night, a ventilation system in bathroom as after a shower everything damp and all windows have condensation. If you open bathroom window you look directly onto what can be a busy main road and parking area. Tea tray too high to be safe when pouring boiling water. Bed comfortable and amenities good but some basics missing like towel rails! Mouldy grout in shower area, weeds growing out of guttering. A real shame as property itself has potential but a real lack of care and attention. Breakfast was OK but hard toasted ciabatta that couldn’t be cut, fried and poached eggs served hard. Bacon good quality, sausages salty and dry (less fat content) but cooked well. A real shame as with some kitchen and maintenance improvements could be so much better.

Great breakfast, lovely room and facilities, beautiful surroundings, good restaurant

Staff shortages meant that the restaurant service was slow, but food was great when it arrived.

A very nice quirky little property very close to town centre.

Bed was a bit too low for us older people and the bed settee in living room was a bit uncomfortable. The heating was a problem to control. It kept coming on in the night. We were up and down trying to put it off
Positive section of review
Good communication, quick transport into city.

No door key only electronic. On arrival accommodation was occupied. Called contact who told me person in the room had gone to incorrect room but they had been there awhile and room/bed was not fresh! Was now concerned someone else could enter room as code was given out. Would suggest a key for security reasons. Room was by a busy road (approach to roundabout to Blackwall tunnel) near constant traffic.
