Directly opposite Runcorn station Was given a chalet USA style something you might see at a motel but to be fair the room was quite spacious and clean with private shower and toilet.This is a bar and restaurant at the hotel but didn't try that

Everything, warm welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Full English was excellent. Perfect position in the village. Came for the food festival highly recommend will be back next year 😊

The breakfast was very good. There were plenty of options and the cooked breakfast was brilliant.

For the price the room was average. I would have expected more facilities.For example the room slept 3 people, however there was only 2 coffees/tea so if you all wanted one or more there was not enough. I also found the staff on the front desk slight rude and not very welcoming or helpful.

Absolutely no shelves or anything similar in the bathroom to place toiletries or clothes / towels for a shower. Just three hooks on the bathroom door in a 10-person room is not enough to dry your towel, especially not in a hygienic way.

Hot and sticky 30% polyester bedsheets are an unfortunate choice. Very compromised sleep because of this. Bed softer than average. Lights can't be dimmed. The reading lamps are full-on, unshaded lightbulbs.

The kitchen could of been a bit cleaner and tidier. I know that guest have to clean up after themselves. But staff need to be prepared to help out. I had to wash a cup up shortly after I arrived at past 2pm in the afternoon just to make myself a cup of tea for example. Staff also need to text guest if the code on the front door is going to change. As I was almost locked out on my third night.
