Location was excellent, staff were lovely. The breakfasts were excellent and we also had a meal in the vault restaurant on both evenings, the food was excellent. There has been a lot of changes since we last came but it did not impact on our stay.

Our room was on the 3rd floor, we had an excellent view out of our window towards the abbey. Room was a bit tight I think it could have been designed a little better to give us more room. The shower room was very good.

Beautiful room. Quiet, spacious, beautiful view of the old town. Conveniently located to access everything. Nice breakfast buffet, lovely afternoon tea. Good dinner menu options.

The second front desk person was very helpful. If he had greeted us first we’d have no complaints. Think he said his name was navine but I may have that wrong. He was excellent.

The first member of staff to greet us was awful. Said I’d not booked two rooms which I had. Couldn’t find my booking even though I had my ID and payment card as requested. Sent me away to sort it myself. Went back to the desk window and said I had more information and she just said she’d now finished and walked off! Didn’t get her name unfortunately

Sticky floor on arrival toilet was loose wobbling side to side room much smaller than expected. Staff were excellent. Would consider going again but would book suite instead.
