Everything!!! It was far beyond my expectations and everything I could possible wish for. The accommodation was spot on for my needs - a lovely little home-from-home holiday! The chalet was clean and well-appointed with the essentials. The green lawn area near the chalet was very appealing. Additionally, I felt totally safe on the chalet park and everyone was friendly.

The only very minor things I could perhaps pick up on were that the kettle needing descaling and there was a little bit of black mould in the lower corners of the shower - but these things are easily remedied! Having no Wi-Fi didn’t turn out to be a problem for myself, as I had mobile data but perhaps some people might find having no wi-fi an issue

A pleasant experience to stay in this grand old house with all original features. Amy was the best host with fresh scones, lighting fires in the beautiful garden and welcome drinks. Good place to explore the Lakes district by car

The location is not great, but it would not stop me staying again. the turkish restaurant attached to the hotel was very authentic and the food was better that i have eaten in Turkey! however the waiting staff were not good, it seemed the patrons were more of an inconvenience to their social chatting! unfortunate really!

Maria was lovely. Location was brilliant, right opposite the sea, couldn't ask for more Husband really liked the breakfast.

The orange juice had a horrible taste and smell. It was so bad it made my breakfast not taste the best. 2nd day I tried the other juice, may have been apple. Again not nice but didnt leave same after taste. The house could be lovely, just needs seriously renovating. It was hit and miss if our toilet worked. Every time lorry went past, the radiator rattled loudly. Not great in the night. The curtains left massive gap at the ends so we were woken up with bright sunlight at stupid oclock.

Bed was very comfortable and soft. All staff very welcoming, and its refurnished look makes it a wonderful place to stay

The room was very warm, no heating seemed to be on and window did not open. The way the bed was placed in the room and the building, feet were higher than body when in bed, which was weird.

The property was beautifully clean. The added bonus was having fully stocked coffee, tea, sugar and cereal.

Massively overpriced hotel particularly when it is so dated. I had to ring a head office number to find staff in order to check in.
