The views were amazing, the hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly and good at their jobs. The gardens were beautiful and there was lots of lovely places to sit.

We had evening meal on the first night but the choice for gluten free was very poor, in the end I had a chargrilled chicken breast with chips..the chicken was tough and very dry. My husband had the steak pie which he said was nice but the vegetables were cold.

Fabulous location in a beautiful building and everything we could need in the apartment although we didn't use any of the appliances or the tea and coffee available to us.

A terrible, terrible smell in the hallway and living area. Whether it was a sewage smell or not, I'm not sure. There were air freshners in the apartment, so whether the owners/cleaners knew of the smell, I'm not sure. We were o ly there for 1 night, so only had to endure the smell for an hour or so last night and the same this morning prior to leaving.

Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning to catch the ferry so didn’t stay for breakfast.

We had to wait a very long time for our dinner, then when I eventually got mine it was cold and I had to send it back, also my husband ordered onion rings and never received them.

The lift you have to go in feels very dangerous, the staff there meaning ( the 1 person) who was there at all times no one else working with her except a young man who give people more pillows and stuff but when I asked for a fan he was alseep in bed and I got told he was coming at 9 o’clock when he woke up. The bathroom was ok except the bath had a wooden board over it which u can not use. There is no phones in the rooms at all! The quilt cover was ripped and u only get 1 pillow.
