Positive section of review
The location is 2 minutes from either beaches. Which are golden sands and crystal waters. Very scenenic. Fantastic shops and places to explore. Parking is so difficult in the area so having parking at the cottage was so great. We left the car there all the time because there is Plenty of choice for places to eat. Lovely galleries and quaint little shops. All within walking distance. A lovely welcome package on arrival and a great folder with lots of useful and interesting information. We were warm and comfortable. It was clean and tidy and it has items you can borrow for the beach and board games and Internet TV. In all, a very enjoyable get away with thoughtful, helpful hosts.

There isn't anything not to like. I would note that although not a problem for us, it is very hilly and in some areas a little uneven -cobbly roads. May make it a little difficult for disabled access but not impossible.

The property and room were very clean. I was able to reach and speak to someone on the phone the three times I tried. Very helpful staff. The location is ideal for restaurants, shops, takeaway, and public transportation. Reasonable walking distance to Queen's Park, which leads to shawlands where you will find lovely restaurants, bars, shops, and small cinema/entertainment venue.

Lack of ventilation to fresh air. which resulted in a suffocating smell when I entered the room. The one window in the room leads to a shaft like space facing wall's, and the ventilation of the Indian takeaway downstairs.

Better than we thought. Cozy and fun, Perfect for group of friends to hang out and chill before expolring the city. Beds are so comfy and bathroom in every rooms is superb.

A little bit far out from the city but walkable. But 1st floor location is quite a work out for those who have big luggage. It was fun though ;)

Staff were friendly, nice bar downstairs, coffee shops and pubs close by, convenient store, close to train stations and London Eye/Thames waterfront

The self checkin process was a little cumbersome, not a big issue for us, but I imagine for the elderly, having a staff member perform this function would put them at ease

Location was good. Public areas were well kept. Breakfast was very good. Dined in the restaurant the first evening and food was good.

Although we were allocated a superior room, it was very tired with worn carpet and worn arms on chairs. Room required a major refurbishment. This was a free upgrade but I would not have been willing to pay full cost of accommodation. The bar/lounge lacked ambience as very few residents used it.
