If you are staying on Golebia street you check in at the main reception and from there it is a 5 minute walk thru the square to the accommodation. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there and I would highly recommend it . You do need to go up a flight of stone stairs so if you have mobility issues then this is not for you .”

We had a deluxe premier room and it was very spacious, very clean, large bathroom. I appreciated the treats we received when we entered the room (fruits and candies), a personalized hand-written note, the butler’s 24h service, the sound system, the beach/pool bag… We asked for a specific higher-floor room with view towards the Icon Siam Mall and we received just that! It felt that we were trully taken care of! The pool was a good retreat after visiting the city with a perfect blend of private and nature. The ice-cream “on the house” offered at noon was a cool bonus. We could use the facilities and pool untill afternoon when we left for the airport and it was a great rest before the flight. We rented a car with deuver for Ayutthaya and it was great. The driver Kid always offered us cooling cold napkins with great smell when we finished visiting temples. He was a good guide and we had the most one could do in this 7 hour tour. Breakfast is delicious and with a variety of foods. Omlette was delicious! The boat to cross to the mall is a big plus! … and it is very nice to just take a ride. Loved everything!”

      We picked this small hotel as it’s near the Open Air theatre where we had tickets to see Simple Minds & it was a great choice. We were in room 2. Room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent tea tray and ample toiletries apart from hair conditioner which we would have welcomed. Lovely soft towels. Comfortable bed. Would have liked a table at the left side of the bed. Very welcoming hosts who offered hot drinks on arrival. Small bar but we didn’t use it. Lovely breakfast.

      I thought the breakfast was very under par. Despite paying for breakfast if you wanted to order from the menu rather than buffet you had to pay a supplement. The buffet was OK but not great, the blueberry muffin I got wasn't cooked through. There was a lack of attention to detail. The staff were nice though, I just expected slightly better food.

      Host was difficult to get a timely reply from when we had specific questions outside of the scope of standard emails. The large number of repeated messages sent by them asking us the same question on numerous occasions was annoying. We were in Room 3 on level 3. Although we knew there were stairs, they were narrow and difficult with baggage. Upon entry you are asked to remove your shoes & use provided slippers. Not convenient and awkward whilst navigating luggage and narrow stairs. Carpets were dirty anyway, so I'm not quite sure about the request. Our room was hot, and the only cooling was a water filled a/c unit that had to be filled. Slept with windows opened that had to propped up with airline neck pillows and an extra towel. The shower was out of order, and we had to use the big bath with a handheld shower wand. The sign on the shower implied the shower was a new problem. Clearly not. This should be clearly stated in the description before booking! The first night we hardly slept- SO hot - room 27-28C (daily temps 10C - 21C). The wifi did not work at all over our stay. They "reported it to the provider" and we never heard from them again. Our messages ignored. Business calls had to be hotspotted on roam! $$ We called twice when we first arrived, a young woman answered and gave us advice on getting more than two towels and needing to type the wifi password in and not cut and paste. (ridiculously complicated password). When wifi still wasn't working, I called back a third time about 2 minutes later and NO ONE ANSWERED. I didn't speak to anyone until the night before we left when we arrived back to shower and go to the theatre and there was NO HOT WATER! Called and messaged three times before they answered. Power Points were odd. Bedroom and Bathroom required 2 different plugs. We travel a fair bit. We roll with the quirks of accommodation, but this was terrible. Don't let the pictures online and location fool you.

      The location was great and not far from the tube station.

      Unclean/ white stains on the throw, bed side table missing, blinds wouldn’t fully close to the bottom of the window, very noisy outside, bed extremely uncomfortable so bad that we didn’t stay the night and checked out within minutes of arriving. Open complaint being processed as we speak but I didn’t appreciate the email from the property being quite rude.
