The communal areas were bright and airy, the room was clean, the breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly.

I did not take a car because the hotel could not guarantee a space. The attic room was hot and with no curtains. Ok for one night but probably won’t come back.

They allowed us to park our bikes.

I asked for the spare bed to be put in the room twice. Finally, I had to help a staff member carry the bed from the filthy storeroom. Dirty bedding was all over the floor, amongst other items. There was a bed and sofa in there, and again, it was very untidy, with a half-empty plate sitting on the couch. The bed was broken and not fit for purpose. Then some staff members decided to get drunk outside and have a sing-song until 11.00 pm. We then listened to " Take Me Home Country Roads" by John Denver, which was poorly sung three times. We then were subjected to pillion-joy rides on a Harley Davidson twice up and down the street. We were told that breakfast was from 7-11 am, so we thought we would have ours at 7 am, but we had not heard of any cooking by 7 am; we assumed someone was a bit rough after the night before! We loaded our bikes by 7.15 am, and the cook turned up at this point. This establishment is not well managed and is not value for money.
