Eagle Cottage has all the convenience of a modern home with the style and features of a historic cottage. It is very centrally located, with an easy 10 minute walk into town. Located up one flight of stairs, at the back of another building, it was quiet and peaceful with a nice outlook. We particularly liked the coat rack and bench in the front hall - easy to remove shoes and jackets. The bathroom and kitchen are modern, stylish and spacious, with everything we needed, including dishwasher and washing machine. Central heating was easy to use. Hosts were quick to respond to queries.

The location, it was beside the beach, the neighbours we're very friendly and helpful, I found d the property very cosy, as its an older couple. It reminded me of my nans home. The shops are local, loads of take aways, I've got a car but the bus service seemed regular.I really would recommend it and I would 100% stay again.

My 1 problem was no WiFi, but my phones 5g did the trick. Other than that nothing.

It was in the village and had everything needed for overnight stays. There were lovely details and provisions for breakfast and snacks that made it extra special. They went out of their way to provide decaf drinks.

Good service in the hotel and the restaurant downstairs. Good facilities in the room.

The room was far too hot and the window couldn't be opened. The double bed was the smallest one I have ever seen. We had to get up in the early hours to take the quilt out of the cover, as it was too hot.

Food amazing. Hotel not so. Felt like we didn’t matter.

No towels. No shampoo etc. sheets not tucked in and when I tried they were too small. No hairdryer. Though a restaurant they do not serve breakfast.
