Great location. First time I’ve stayed in a pub and I’ve got to say i do like the convenient access to a pint! Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Rooms are quite basic but I think more than reasonable at this price point. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. There were 2 toilets for I think 7 or 8 rooms, didn’t have much issue with it being occupied and it was clean. Access is sorted via keycodes so you can get in late when the staff are gone and it’s all explained to you. Most importantly, the price is fair, as the big chain hotels are just extortionate now in London. Will be using this again when I stay in London if the price remains reasonable.

Could do with a 2nd pillow being available. An iron would be really useful for business travellers - even just one kept at the bar that you can request. Can be quite noisy outside, but not much they can do about that. They have installed a second modern window in front of the original windows which helps but I had the windows open due to the temperature. Can hear the train station announcements… which may be a positive or a negative depending on if you’re using the station!

Not alot......the room was pokey, we were not informed that the pool was closed and although we sat near the bar watching football we were told that we could not have the dog with us....and the place where we could have the dog had no TV to watch the football ...so the dog had to go back to the room. ....The menu was not good for those that had paid and additional costs were needed for decent choices.

Great location, room was lovely, breakfast excellent and a really good selection of beer. Although it was just an overnight pit stop on a long journey we were very impressed and would love to stay there for longer on a return visit.

Couldn't get BBC 1 or any BBC channels, did mention it but couldn't get it rectified within our stay. Bathroom lights were very dim on the first night but was soon rectified

We had to wait an hour and a half sitting on our suitcases on the street whilst SuperHog staff - who are based in Indonesia - gave us well rehearsed answers to say they were not responsible for giving us the access code for the keys. They wanted me to communicate with someone else and someone else and someone else... to sort out the validation of my Irish passport before they gave us the access code for the keys!! The letting arrangement is so efficiently organised by highly trained people using such sophisticated systems that do not communicate with each other that it actually does not work for real people in real situations!! An example of this is that the automated cleaning service messaged me to ask me how satisfied i was with the cleanliness of the apartment, completely unaware that I was sitting outside on the pavement and had not even got into the apartment. If there was a problem with the validation of my passport, they could have phoned me to tell me there was a problem rather than wait till we arrived tired and wanting to use the bathroom! They are probably better prepared to host digital / virtual guests than real people wanting real things sorted out. The shower did not work properly so someone in Indonesia sent a video, but there was no one there to fix the issue when we needed it. On the first night it was too difficult to communicate with host/Superhog to get answers and we gave up on using the shower and washed in the basin. The bed has springs coming through it and was uncomfortable and it clearly needs replacement. Some glasses and spoons were not cleaned properly.
