The property was cosy and exactly what we wanted for our stay, we liked that it had everything we needed if we didn’t have it eg. cooking utensils, hair dryer etc. The cottage was well heated which was lovely, but we found it was quite warm and stuffy at times but can’t really complain, better to be warm than cold! We also thought the decor fitted in well to the cottage and it’s a lovely sized cottage very spacious, and we liked the big comfy bed!

The only fault we had with the property mainly was the garden, the privacy is not great and the couple staying above us were able to look down on us whilst we used the hot tub which wasn’t ideal. There also wasn’t a lot of lighting outside so we felt like we couldn’t make full use of the hot tub in the evening. We also noticed there was quite a bit of mould dotted around areas of the cottage. The only other fault we had was the staff didn’t ask how our stay was when we handed our keys back, which is only a little thing but we thought this was a bit odd personally as this is something you normally expect generally when you stay somewhere.

Restaurant was busy but staff and food were very good. Had to wait a little while for our food order as there were at least two birthday parties in on that evening. Breakfast on Sunday was Full English/Irish but would have been nice if cereals had also been available before breakfast.

In the on suite there was no bath mat by the shower which was hazardous for me as I am semi-disabled.

It was in a very good location, just out of the main centre so it was quiet but a very short walk into town and other transport facilities. The room was a bit small for two people however was good just to sleep. The no window was a bit trippy especially in the morning but nothing mad.

I wasn't allowed to warm my food on day 2 after a long conference, yet on the first day the staff were really helpful and assisted my daughter to help me warm my food. That experience was disappointing.
