I really like this hotel Very close to railway station and not far from open university Food was fairly bog standard bar food but quite expensive at the bar?(drinks also expensive but maybe London Prices post brexit post Ukraine war? O and breakfast was fine-they did do poached eggs on request which was very welcome The reception staff were great but I found it so odd to have to go to reception and pick up card and towel to have a swim Im used to registering at reception then Going to and from pool when it suited me- really odd -that would seriously put me off booking again

The apartment was quite spacious and the bed quite comfortable most if not everything I needed could be found in the apartment is I needed it. It was a perfect location in regards to the train station as I had a long trip planned and the relative distance to the train station was perfect. I quite liked how high the roofs were as it made the room more spacious.

Nothing in particular stood out, a washing machine would be nice but the possibility of having to hand wash anything wasn't a problem.

Lovely spacious clean house with excellent facilities and good value. Comfortable beds. 10 minutes walk to the St Ives beaches and town. Quiet location. We would stay here again.

I have stayed here 4 or 5 times over the last 8 months and was immediately annoyed when two girls in front of me (with 2 separate room bookings) were both ‘randomly selected’ by management for room upgrades and I was not. There is never enough staff on for the teatime rush so there is always a wait at the bar. I rang down for room service but no one answered, I tried reception and the restaurant but still no answer so I had to go down in my pjs. The F&B manager was great and did give me 2 free drinks and 20% off the food as a sorry. The halloumi skewer consisted of two thumb size pieces of halloumi, and there was no bottle of water in the room which I think is a small but important touch when paying £90 for a hotel room. Collectively this all put me off booking here again.
