Host was super helpful & friendly. Kindest person you could ask for in a host. Home made bread, rare breed hens eggs & honey all produced on the estate and part of the delightful welcome pack. The accommodation had everything we needed. All modern appliances, TV microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. A wonderful log stove with a plentiful supply of logs. The view from the windows was picturesque, and the estate has a highly interesting history with a connection to royalty. The host Liz presented us with a delicious rhubarb and apple crumble along with freshly made custard. She truly is a ‘Superhost’. Helpful in every way. I would recommend Ardullie Lodge and would love to go back there.

The owners were incredibly nice, very helpful and accomodating. The location was fantastic, with walking distance to several distilleries and local restaurants. Amazing breakfast. The local village bar with traditional music is one to not miss!!!

Lovely owner. Lots of space in bedroom, bathroom and living room. Nice to be able to let my dog up on a blanket on the sofa. 30+ mins from Lake District walks.

Mostly clean but needs attention to detail. The remote control and laminated instructions were sticky and the fridge wasn't completely clean. The TV got stuck on the apps and there weren't instructions on how to get back to main TV, which was frustrating. It's on a farm so some manure smells sometimes.

the only thing that bothered us a lot during our stay was the strong smell of mold, we believe it was some infiltration in the wall or under the bed.

The burger looked and tasted like it had been kicked around by Beckham and the cost of it was just silly Room was not the cleanest I have stayed a few at this hotel and never a problem but the seal around the shower was black the fridge seal was broken
