My recent stay at Serene Escape exceeded all expectations and left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a truly memorable experience. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean and tastefully furnished, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the host. They went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt welcome throughout my stay. I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing the same level of hospitality once again.

Bagdale Rise is an excellent, comfortable apartment situated close to the Whitby harbour, with very much of Whitby being in close walking distance. The apartment is equipped with Wifi, a smart TV, dishwasher and all of the kitchen appliances and utensils you could need. The free parking space is very useful and is much appreciated. This was our third stay in the apartment and we will be back again.

The bed slats on one of the beds were a little wobbly and may need tightening or replacing.

We chose to stay at this hostel due to its location and price, and we were not disappointed. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

The room was rather average, which can be overlooked considering the price of the stay. What could be improved are the bathrooms. They require renovation.

We always seem to have an issue with the bathroom! This time, there was no hot water from the shower for about 45 minutes in the morning.

The flat is spacious and very comfortable. The host is friendly and supportive. Facilities are also good.

Something unexpectedly happened to the water boiler and I don't know why but we didn't have hot water to use in the evening and also the next morning. I understand that this was an unexpected issue and it is the only thing I dont like. Other than that, everything is good.

Because their focus is on food they put reserved signs on all of the tables in the bar-we had to move to a tiny table after 6.30 even though we had eaten there and were paying £137 for our room
