The hotel is stunning, set where it is and has a lovely lake just down the hill. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We has a bungalow, which was a nice surprise and very comfortable.

The chairs in the bungalow had animal hair on them, which I presume was dog hair.

Spacious, clean, and really well situated. This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and it was still great! It had everything we wanted, including coffee machine, iron, hairdryer etc.

Parking is limited and would recommend a number plate sign in so if anyone naughty blocks car easy to locate and tell off the culprit….

I wanted to climb up to ben Nevis, the youth hostel was best location. room ,toilet ,kitchen all of them clean and comfortable.

I booked a twin room and on check in I was advised I had been given a twin room but had a double (king) bed. Was told this would be sorted but never got a call back Asked for instant coffee as room only had coffee machine pods but they were not available- coffee machine was not working Expensive room and not the best customer service

bed mattress barely there, very thin and uncomfortable, there was no shaving point in bathroom, needs a good deep clean and refurbishment. Bar didn't open until late afternoon. Other than that, it was in a good location.
