Ann was a great hostess. Really lovely person. Great place to stay if you’re watching the match like we were. 25 minute walk to Goodison if that. Rice Lane station next door if you need to get into the city. Rooms were really well presented and the facilities were good. We’ll stay again. Thanks Ann!

The flat itself was lovely .. spacious, modern, tastefully decorated, well fitted out and the location second to none and absolutely superb.

Had not received the final check-in information and codes despite having done the ID Verification. Thankfully the customer services assistant was very helpful on the phone but we then ended up having to walk round the back of the property to another entrance with baggage feeling tired after a long day and travel - all felt very unnecessary and not as smooth as expected. Maintenance issues. There were several. When so much has been made on the booking conditions prior to arrival of the £1000 if we had broken or stolen something as a guest ... it was unnerving to arrive and immediately to find e.g. a toilet seat in the small toilet that was hanging off - this was 100% obvious and would clearly have been known about by the cleaning team. There were also problems with a door. If there is a problem - put a note on it to say apologies, Q are aware of the problem and it will be rectified rather than the client ragged on arrival finding the issue and having to go through the flat to establish and communicate existing maintenance issues. The team at Q were very good on the phone - we received email confirmations that the problems would be looked into for future guests .. but the initial events just then left us a bit on edge during our stay.

Toilet had not been cleaned properly and hair was around the shower… just seemed like they had forgotten to clean this part of room as rest was very clean - a shame as would have given a 9
