The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

  The Light House Room was beautiful. The four poster bed was so comfy, a real treat. The dressing room and bathroom were amazing, immaculately presented and equipped. We enjoyed sitting in the armchairs in front of the window and enjoyed the view. The breakfast was exceptional and the dining room was beautifully decorated and laid out.

  lovely property in picturesque surrounds. Staff were fantastic- warm and welcoming. Room was very well appointed, comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. The restaurant food was of a high quality and reasonably priced. The treacle beef was fabulous! Freshly cooked breakfast to order, rounded off my stay perfectly .

  The cottage was very spacious and modern. Little private secure patio and a raised lawn. The Owner is delightful, but beware, he likes to drink my Hawstone cider 😉

  We liked everything, the room is nice and cozy, the bathroom in spacious and the water is good. The breakfast is great.

  It's near the railway station and if you want to explore the city you have to walk thru it back and forth. Just consider it. The hotel itself is good inside, though from the outside it's not so glamorous.

  Broken , damaged all over. Dirty stains on sofa. Broken tiles . Cigarette burns in sink, carpet and sofa. Broken light fittings. Loose wires , broken aerial. Door hanging off. Door handle loose. Mouse droppings in kitchen cupboard. Hob stained , melted knobs on oven. No contact from owner and no acknowledgment at all.
