It was quiet even though fully booked and we could come and go as we needed. The rooms all had en-suites which is a must for our family. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast room was just delightful and the hot breakfast was always cooked to perfection! Great selection of everything too. The location of this property was very close to the harbour, not too far to walk for a good pub lunch or dinner near by too.

There wasn’t much to dislike, even our rooms were moved around so we could be next to each other. It as quite hot one night even with the windows open but the provide a fan too! Perfect for those summer nights.

The cottage was beautifully decorated with comfy sofas and chairs. It was equipped with anything you needed to be a home away from home. It was lovely and clean aswell. There was a detailed and well thought out info pack which was really helpful. The grounds were beautiful and so quiet and relaxing. I would definitely like to come back and stay for longer.

Very relaxed, excellent bedroom (room 2) with ensuite shower room. Very nice help-yourself breakfast laid out in the bedroom although there was the option of using the main downstairs kitchen with enormous table if required by a larger group of visitors. All I heard at night was an owl and some cattle in the distance. A far cry from the M40.
