Our room had a lot of character and very comfortable with lovely bath. Dinner was exceptional [best meal while in the UK] - Salt & Pepper Squid and Lamb Rump]. Breakfast also very good.

There was no on site parking but fortunately we were able to secure park immediately opposite our room in the street so no problem. While the service was great it was a little unusual the desk was not fully manned.

Laura was trying to be as helpful as she could despite me arriving ahead of the official check in time. It certainly was very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

I didn't receive any joining instructions after I had booked and it took me ages to get my key once I had arrived. There was building work taking place on the floor that I was staying and as a result there was no WIFI. The apartment itself was certainly big but none of the bins had been emptied, one of the bedrooms had damp towels hanging up in it. I found a half used pot of yoghurt in the fridge and some fruit. And there seemed to be just lots of discarded stuff in the drawers ranging from spanners to nail polish bottles. The water didn't get very hot. I really wondered if I was in an actual apartment or if I had been put into a flat that someone had vacated quickly just to make room for me. The decor of the apartment wasn't to my taste but I'm sure that mirrored furniture and lots of sparkly stuff would appeal to a different demographic or traveller.

The view from the room was spectacular. The wat the room was presented was beautiful with lovely touches such as beautiful slices of fresh Victoria sponge.

We had some trouble with the bathroom door closing. The bed was wedged in next to the bedside table so everytime i turned over the wood on the headboard rubbed on the table. The tea table is very wobbly.

I booked a single room for £151 for the night. It was expensive and very, very small. Narrow single bed, every time I turned, I hit the corner wardrobe. Very uncomfortable. Would also suggest blackout blind as curtains too long and interfered with sleep. Also room on top floor, 8 flights of stairs, no lift....

Basic enough. Breakfast was minimal but ok. Didn’t seem to have the correct dates from Booking.com and wanted to charge extra. Luckily I had the confirmation email to hand.
