Positive section of review
The room was clean and comfortable. The Bnb has been run by the same family for almost 40 years and had a very homely feeling to it. They were warm, welcoming abd friendly. It was my first stay there, but I almost immediately felt as if they were old friends. It was quiet, close to local bus routes, and we loved visiting the Buddhapadipa Temple, which is a short bus ride away.

There was honestly nothing. If I was being very fussy, I could say the option to have a hot breakfast (a continental breakfast is available) But there are several places a few minutes' walk away, where one can have a cooked breakfast.

The architecture of the hotel is amazing and the surrounding nature and scenery as well. The staff is nice and helpful. I haven't tried the restaurant for the other meals than breakfast. The breakfast was alright. The usual English breakfast. I wished I had the opportunity to stay longer and to explore the footpaths but my job was calling...

On my departure date there was some loud noise outside at about 8.30am. My room window was facing towards the back of the hotel. It sounded like someone decided to slam some giant milk metal cans to the soil. Eventually the sound stopped so I couldn't figure out what it was.

Really comfortable spacious accommodation, brilliant location, and close to everything. The host was very accommodating and facilitated our early entry request and sent also handy videos with information about the flat. We have booked again for another trip.

The only issue we encountered was the en suite shower not currently working, which the host informed us of on arrival, but we still had access to another in the family bathroom, so it wasn't a big issue.

Apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. Beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. Very quiet and homely. Coffee machine and capsules, tea and biscuits were provided. Would recommend Diane is a friendly and helpful host.
