Great location in the centre of Cricklade on the High Street. Looks like the rooms have been recently decorated. My room was small but comfortable. The shower was great. Easy reach to restaurants, the Thai behind the Vale is great. Couple of cafes to choose from nearby to have breakfast. Easy system for checking out.

The Vale does have a restaurant but it unfortunately wasn't open when I stayed. The stairs will be a problem for those with limited mobility, especially the external spiral staircase used for access when the pub is closed. Tea & coffee provided but no biscuits.

Location was the best, beside Train station. Walking distance to Bus station for Rabbies Tours, Royal Mile and Grassmarket was close . Hotel right on Princes Street, very close to Marks & Spencer! Took an airport Link bus, cost 8 pounds per person return, was literally one street over!

No air conditioning, which typically you wouldn't need in Scotland, but thanks to global warming, that is changing. The hotel is historic, so I understand why there's no air conditioning. The front desk staff will get you a fan if you ask.

We stayed there for 4 nights and everything was great. The house is big and comfortable with all the facilities available. The tram station is 3 mins by walk and a minute walk away there is a huge park. The owner is kind, friendly and welcoming. My family had a great time at this place.

We enjoyed our short stay very much. For us, the location was perfect. Peaceful, quiet, close to Chichester and the Witterings. The apartment is immaculate and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Lots of good walks in the vicinity.

Great location, parking was very handy too, reception and bar staff very welcoming and friendly…. It was my friends bday, she was given a bottle of fizz and a birthday card and free drink at the bar. Room was perfectly comfortable, OK size for 3 of us

The sofa bed was comfy but a bit stained and grubby - sorry!

Property was airy & light. Dining area was good. Beds were comfortable & towels good. The grounds to the property were beautiful & there is a small coffee & snack area in the golf club which you can use, along with a terrace.

Social aspect could be improved, no outdoor seating or table at The Bothy. Owner said this had recently been broken & said we could walk to the front of his house to use theirs, but not convenient if you want a cup of tea or lunch in the sunshine. Also the only television in the property was in an upstairs bedroom which was strange.
