We liked our rooms they where large with everything you expect even a hairdryer, we also had a lovely armchair. Everything was very clean the bathroom was very nice with soft towels and a shower. The Breakfast was superb with everything anyone could want served with a goodmorning and to help ourselves with cooked food ,cereal, fruits, yogurts, toast Tea, coffee juices. We had our meal there on Thursday evening and the choice was superb once again served with smiles everyone was so friendly and helpful. We would recommend Cornmill Lodge Hotel to everyone there is plenty of parking places and you are looked after and made to feel so welcome. So thank you to everyone who made our visit so special,

We all had the "Full English" breakfast next morning: meal great although bacon a bit rubbery and salty. We ate the lot however and it set us up for the day for our onward journey to Canterbury. The staff all work hard and are very pleasant. Great place to stay.

Natasha and Colin treated me as a house guest rather than a customer. Being addressed by name makes a big difference. The evening meal that I had there, and the breakfast were both very good. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location, excellent ground floor disabled access room. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice including kippers smoked haddock and full English etc We were very impressed with it all.

Location excellent with wonderful views over the lake. Room excellent size more like a suite with open balcony. Food was superb - dinner and breakfast.

No real dislikes. Breakfast was a bit disorganised on our stay due to staff sickness we were told, so service was slow and they got some of our order wrong, however the quantity and quality of the food could not be questioned. A blip we think.

Both showers were terrible. One bedroom inaccessible due to door only opening partway. Cobwebs everywhere. Loose toilet seats. Water damage to ceiling. Entire property lacking in careful maintenance.
