We were surprised when we entered the room. Everything was more modern than expected with the latest tech upgrades. Everything was super modern, clean, comfy. The staff was super friendly as well. Cool implementation of the bathroom. Great example of how to optimally design a small space.

Kids were playing, screaming and running in the middle of the night around 4 a.m. in the hallways. When I opened the door, they quickly ran away to their rooms.

Great, quiet location within walking distance to the beaches and Newquay town centre, extremely clean and comfortable room and a great breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

The location was good. The reception lady was friendly and helpful, and the young man behind the bar was nice.

The room smelt of drainage (rotten egg) and I was kept up by the sound of screaming toads and frogs in the pond next to the room. I appreciate this is out of the control of the hotel and it’s staff! The middle aged gentleman with short hair and glasses working in the restaurant/ bar was extremely clipped and rude. He shouted at me for accidentally sitting at a breakfast table instead of a dinner table and then followed me to the bar accusing me of not paying when i had definitely already paid for my food, the young man behind the bar even confirmed this. I wish I had caught the man with the glasses’ name. He walked with his feet out turned and was mainly serving in the restaurant area, that’s about as much description as I can offer. The food was UNBELIEVABLY over priced! I was utterly shocked at the price of the food. £19 for salmon and vegetables is unbelievable. That’s top tier restaurant prices… not microwave / motel meal prices. I was a little disappointed overall and I’m unsure if I’ll use the farm house and its facilities again.

Didn't sleep for two night staying here. Every time you moved in bed the head board creaked loudly and was very annoying. My partner and I didn't sleep for two nights and where so tired after staying here. The room was very hot even though id put the air con on to try and cool the room down. Pillows where extremely uncomfortable also. Parking wasn't really close to the hotel. Thought after paying £40 per night would have been next to or part of the hotel. The rooftop pool that was advertised on certain sites, was actually not part of the hotel but another facility across the road, which cost more and was for the public. After my stay I've had to book in for a massage due to the bed being so uncomfortable. Mentioned the room to staff on checking out and all they said was... oh that's a shame.. that was it. After paying over £1000 for two nights I would have expected more from the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Was late checking out due to having to wait over an hour and a half to get our breakfast...

No parking so that was £9.50 a day extra, no se view so pictures inaccurate but main problem was the shower had been badly repaired & wasn’t really fit for purpose
