Everything was great. We booked the apartment 2 hours before we arrive on our way from Folkestone to London. We were travelling with a little daughter and Sean did amazing job to have done our apartment and be ready even for the kid. There were very nice cot, highchair and plastic plate and spoon:) We had everything we could need. Wifi worked, night was calm, parking was no problem, we found spot immediately. Sean gave us the mark behind window, very helpful. Keys were collected clearly. Really liked the terrace. We welcomed the simplicity of heating our apartment. Nearby is Tesco and close to the city - we went for a pizza within 8 min of walking :)

The location is perfect for going into town and Scarborough open air theatre, parking onsite, the owners are so friendly and welcoming.It rained heavy during our stay, we returned from a concert to the central heating on which was very much appreciated.The rooms are Immaculately clean and have some extra little touches. The beds are extremely comfortable and the shower is perfect ! The photo's on booking.com are exactly as Glenholme looks.We really felt nothing was to much trouble and will look forward to staying again.

Tiny little fisherman’s cottage. We’ve walked past them in so many villages, so good to be inside. Very well appointed, great clothes washing machine + kitchen with good appliances. Everything we needed. The chairs in the back garden catch the sun. Easy walking to the harbour and dinner or ice creams. We arrived on a sunny Saturday, but still were able to drop luggage and park fairly close to the ( my husband is good at parking hire cars).

Small, clean apartment with lots of personal touches (eg, fresh, beautiful roses, various useful kitchen items, etc). Bed large and comfortable, attractive cattle checking us out from adjacent paddock. Good parking. For short-term, one to 2 nights, particularly if both occupants are good sleepers or if one is alone, this is an excellent apartment

The lack of a separate sitting room, and the lack of a cooktop makes this apartment unsuitable for longer term stays. There was some kind of cooker under the sink, but I was unfamiliar with its nature and didn't try to use it.

We have stayed here before and it was cheap but clean. This time was completely unacceptable to the point we couldn’t actually stay.

The smell of drugs was quite overwhelming and we got a 5 minute lecture at reception about not doing drugs on the premises! The room was not clean at all and we were shown 4 other rooms which also were not clean to the point we refused to stay. I don’t think they know what a hoover is. We found cannabis all over the floor in 1 room, dead flies all over another and they all absolutely stunk. The bedside table was in the drawer in the kitchen, the sides weren’t cleaned, the fridge and surrounding area was filthy, no crockery or cutlery etc etc. The heating was on full and couldn’t be turned off. The manager agreed that he wouldn’t let his pregnant wife stay in any of the rooms they showed us and agreed to refund through booking.com but has now refused. Absolutely disgusting place and it wasn’t even cheap!

The hotel is in prime position for everything we wanted to do. The staff are approachable and helpful.

The car park is very small for the size of the hotel, also if you can get a space it is quite expensive.
