We arrived at Marley House B&B after our 4 hour drive, and the setting was idyllic. Perfectly quaint village setting, and the house itself was beautiful. Our room was gorgeous in green and overlooked the stunning garden and had a view of a nearby church. Jan and Mark, the owners, could not have taken better care of us. The breakfast was superb - served with smiles and jokes. It was dog friendly and very relaxed. We played chess one night in the conservatory and Mark joined us for a few games. Our expectations were exceeded on every level. Great value for money and we don't usually tend to revisit places to stay as we like to experience new places, but we would definitely stay here should we be in Dorset in the future.

There was nothing we didn't like, at all. It was perfect.

Very clean & comfortable rooms. Represented good value for money. Good breakfast options. We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant & there were good options for most dietary requirements. Short walk down the hill to the main attractions

Parking is limited and very restrictive. There are not as many car parks as there are guest rooms, and the surrounding area is restricted. If you are wanting to use your car through the day, it’s quite difficult. They are obviously aware of the parking issue, which, physically cannot be resolved because of the space out the back, just something to think about if you’re travelling with a car

Hotel staff were friendly, Room was clean albeit basic, Towel & miniature shampoo was provided on check in. Was able to get Free Wi-Fi Access which was a bonus & for a budget hotel room it wasn't bad.

Stairs inside the property were a little uneven and difficult to get up & down if you have big feet (I'm size 12 and I had to go up sideways), Toilets and Washrooms weren't cleaned at all during my 2 day stay and I cleaned it myself, Signage outside the hotel states Bed & Breakfast but this is NOT available since Covid, however you can get free tea & coffee upon speaking to the check in staff. Communal Area/Check In area is quite dark and dingey.

Good location near the centre of Ramsey but also had access straight onto a footpath through the golf course. Comfortable.

Cleanliness, felt like, by charging 20£ less than other hotels in the area, gave them the right to simply ignore the basics of cleaning. When you are a paying guest, regardless of it being £60 or £600, cleanliness shouldn't be compromised. Small room? Sure. Less facilities? Of course. BUT, there are things that should meet a minimum standard and CLEANLINESS is definitely one of them and at this, this hotel failed miserably.
