The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The breakfast was very good indeed. Paul and Steve fulfilled all that we asked for and more. Tea and Coffee was flowing, nothing was too much trouble. Even a small pair of scissors to open your sauce sachet with, good touch. The bedrooms were very spacious, spotless and very comfortable beds. We would recommend Fox Lodge 100% and would not stay anywhere else after our amazing stay.

Nothing at all. The whole stay of 3 nights was amazing. There was six of us in total, of which we enjoyed the Northern Soul event in the Tower. Paul and Steve are the best of hosts, we could of actually stayed in the accommodation with them on the last night chatting away and laughing, they made us all feel so relaxed and comfortable.

Great location only 10 min drive to York and other locations nearby . Excellent host ( Sally ) went out her way to meet and greet us and let my 2 year old daughter see the lambs she had out the back of her property Had everything we needed for cooking well thought out and child friendly with various games for little ones .

We really liked the apartment it was very clean and well equipped in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Location is also good only a 5 minute taxi to city centre. The host was also very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming historic property, room 1 was very spacious, breakfast was excellent. Claire was very welcoming. Location is ideal, with private parking and an easy walk to Frome restaurants and sights. Make sure to see the priests hole.

All good for us - it’s a quaint historic property so don’t expect a lift.

The hosts were so helpful and lovely. They couldn't have made our stay more pleasant. They were informative about the ferry and places to eat. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well.

We are still finding the cost of accommodation very costly for the standard of rooms in both the UK and Ireland.

Unfortunately everything the hotel is dirty and in need of a major upgrade! Our toilet didn't flush, there was a ceiling tile missing in the toilet, no shower curtain for the shower, no mattress protectors on the mattress, a whole in the wall were someone has kicked it! We had tea and.coffee in the room but no kettle! People running about till all hours of morning!
