It’s a lovely place. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. The garden is beautiful with a lovely hot tub and loads of seating areas. Beautiful double bedroom with a treadmill (definitely went on it 😂) a Welcome hamper was included with some little snacks and it was wonderful. Really wish we could stay for longer , and will most definitely come back! The communication with David has been great, gets back in time and in the same day. Very friendly! 😁😊 If I could give this place more that 5 stars I would. Absolutely lovely, would recommend to anyone! And is a great place if you have doggies!! Garden is perfect. Living room is very homely and warm, and beds are all very comfortable and soft! Had a good sleep😂. Also had fun playing with the punching bag, the guitar, and piano! Neighbours are friendly too. 6 Adults, 2 Big Dogs. Thanks again David!!!!

The property was very clean, lovely bed with good quality bedding .coffee and tea also hot chocolate to have .good shower over bath which were both spotless clean nice towels Shower/bath gel ,soap and shower cap supplied A great breakfast with good quality products

A very impressive, characterful property, well furnished with reproduction period furniture and tastefully decorated, immaculate and well presented, in a prime location. Access to a separate well-equipped kitchenette was a bonus.

Nowhere to place luggage for unpacking - it is customary to have a robust table or similar surface on which to unload one's luggage. The wardrobe had no space sufficient to hang up a long coat or dress - I had to temporarily remove a shelf to allow this. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not appear to be working. There was only one hand towel provided. The towels were not changed for the second night - I would have preferred a fresh dry set to be supplied each day. There was no surface in the bathroom on which to deposit personal toiletries, shaver, toothbrushes etc. other than the top of the WC cistern! The bathroom cabinet was fixed way too high for my partner to use. There was no dressing table with a mirror where she could apply her makeup - so she had to resort to using the camera on her iPad. There was only one chair provided - there should have been two in a double room.

Great size, great price. Big tv, smart lighting. Really liked this hotel.

Basic stuff. Light bulbs not working in a smart lighting environment. No teaspoon to stir tea or coffee. No sign to say do not disturb. Cleaner leaving bin bag of my rubbish in the room. All basic and all fixable.

The room was good but the bathroom was amazing.

The room is above the pubs and we stay on weekend for 2 nights so it was noisy but eventually quite after mid night and may if window was double glaze and shut properly then noise will be reduce.
