We had a great stay and would stay again. My daughter and I stayed for her birthday. We had a hot shower, toiletries, lots of tea, coffee and sugar. A tv with loads of freeview channels to watch. A comfy, clean bed. We played pool in the downstairs reception room for £1 an go. Plus there was a lovely lady checked us in. Sorry didn’t catch her name. We paid £20 for the night and could not complain at all. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent check in and room perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the tea/coffee making tray was well stocked. The complimentary bottle of water in the room was much appreciated. Good quick lift. This is now my hotel of choice for central Birmingham and I'm back next week.

There was no drawer space. As a single male travelling for one night this didn't really matter, but just mentioning it in case important to others.

Great location, couple of minutes walk to the beach. Clean rooms with superb view from the balcony. Liam, the owner very welcoming and helpful. Large free carpark, which was the bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Great location for shopping, eating out, for the docks…everything. Lovely clean hotel. Room was great size, had everything we needed. My daughter loves the pool. Staff were super helpful.

Not DDA compliant. Steps everywhere. Rooms were cold. Reception did not answer calls from the room. Aerator missing from washbasin tap. Shower inside tub - not practicable for person who has mobility problems. No toiletries in the bathroom. One bathroom had only lukewarm water. Did not feel like a 4 star hotel.
