The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The Hawk Inn and location are both fantastic, very easy to get from the A303 also just across from the pub is a loverly green where you can sit and enjoy a drink. The pub itself has a great feel to it, you can tell that the owners have put a lot of time and effort into both the inside and the outside. We traveled with two dogs and when being shown to our room (which was perfect) there was a little room set up for both our dogs with cushions and a little dog welcome pack.

The cabin was absolutely stunning. Louise came out to help us identify our cabin and was very friendly. The pictures don’t do the feel of this place justice. We had an amazing view and saw deer in the fields. If you want to unplug from the world and have some peace and some luxury, then this place is for you. We will definitely be booking a cabin here in the future. We plan to book around Autumn next time, so we can make the most of the log fire.

Loved the location - one street from Portobello Rd and short walk to Nottinghill Gate tube station. Airconditioned rooms with really comfy pillows and beds. Turn down service at night. Exceptional service from the staff. Very comfortable breakfast room.

The bathrooms in the budget double rooms are very tight.

Cosy country pub, friendly staff. Our room (2) was a good size, and the bed very comfy. Linen and towels clean. Good location for Dalby Forest concert.

Room 2 was very tired and grubby. The kettle was full of limescale, so tea had an oily film on top. One of the two glasses provided was dirty. The bathroom desperately needs some TLC. The lino is ripped in three places, one which could catch on bare feet, the shaver light didn't work, and the shower head was filthy. Overall, it needs some care and attention. Breakfast was a mixed bag with the standard breakfast enjoyed, but the vegetarian sausage was cheap and tasteless. Cups were dirty and stained, the choice for cereals for a £95 stay was limited with no fruit or yoghurt, which these days is pretty standard. Such a shame as it is in a lovely location, but this particular room was not up to the standard of the price paid.

We eat dinner both nights and were pleased with our meals. All the staff were very nice.

Our towels were changed each day and we thought that was unnecessary in this day and age when we are trying to save energy and water.
