As a disabled the room was fantastic, the trouble came with early departures banging main door woke us at 6am. Breakfast was lovely, and staff was superb. Seeing I was disabled and not busy the lady help me by getting me tea, enquired if I had enjoyed breakfast. Would come back, the lift is a tight fit for two, and would have been similar, if not impossible for my wheelchair.

The staff were brilliant and on seeing my husband’s disability, moved us to a more appropriate room, at the same price! It was a good base for attending an event at the K2. We didn’t get to use any of the other facilities so can’t comment.

The car park is astroclous, very few disabled parking bays. I had to drop my husband by the entrance and park around the back. Something I was very uncomfortable about, especially in the dark. Exiting the car park is awful if there is a coach dropping off/picking up (made us late for our event and almost missed our granddaughters performance 😠). For an older person,like myself, walking through the unmade up surface of the car park was unpleasant and needed wellies for all the puddles. The car park feels creepy at night time. Also the guests hanging about the entrance having cigarettes was rather intimidating.

Location was ideal, friendly staff. Rooms are basic but clean. If you are just using the hostel as a base then its perfect. Next time I am in the city I will stay again.

It was very close to the promenade and all local amenities. Lesley couldn’t do enough for us. The room and bathroom were spotless.

Everything your family would need is available on site. We had some cider left in the fridge on arrival as well as afternoon tea. Cider made from apples grown on the farm which caravan park is located on. Amazing.

My room wast ready for 2pm checkin which was a pain and our key card wouldn't work when we went to bed after the wedding. Luckily, it was fixable but not ideal xx
