Clear check-in instructions were sent in advance and a slightly later check out was easily accommodated when I called the host. It's a small place - pretty cosy - but has everything you need for a comfortable base in SW London. The area is quiet and feels really safe, there's a small late night supermarket less than 1 min walk away and the closest tube is just 10 mins walk away. There's a double hob and some pans etc. There was also some food left (tins of beans, cooking oil, salt and pepper) which was appreciated after lengthy travel. The bed was comfortable. Washer/dryer was reeeeally appreciated again, after having travelled so much, and there were washing capsules to use.

It was a really hot week when staying here; you're drying clothes and cooking in the small room and you're on the second floor so it was quite warm and humid. A dehumidifier and fan would have been perfect! Being on the second floor, there were a few stairs, but this was fine and these stairs were well lit on the way up. A small fold out table rather than the armchair would be great as at the moment, you can eat sat on the bed or one chair and no table.

It was a good location with private off-road parking and easy walking distance into Freshwater. It was nice having access to a garden. The house was spacious and comfortable with good amenities. The welcome pack providing milk and bread etc was a nice thoughtful touch.

Some additional clothes pegs and tea mugs would have been useful, also an iron/ironing board and a hair-dryer.

Great location chose the hotel where the pool and spa were located. Although a large complex didn’t think would use the facilities as much if not in the hotel itself. Lovey walks behind the complex and green space.

It is quite tired and didn’t have some things for a superior room that I would expect such as coat hooks. Having a map of the walks behind the complex and distances would be ace for those like me who run the paths.

Place by the sea is a lovely flat on two levels. It is clean, spacious and comfortable, in an excellent location in Bridlington. Communication with the host was very good. Definitely recommended.
