It was perfect, snug, comfortable,really warm but did not need heating on. Had a great private courtyard overlooking a wee field. Great location for visiting historic sites which I'll do when I visit again, I was there for a swim event. Sue. Thanks for the kind thought to leave me out wine and biscuits after my very long journey. sorry I couldn't drink the wine but I enjoyed the biscuits. l'll be back same time next year 😁

The receptionist and duty manager for the night I stayed were both wonderful.

I requested a ground floor room due to my disability, but I later understood that no such rooms were available. Still, I could have been accommodated on the first or second floor. Instead, I was placed on the very top, the 4th floor, where only two rooms were located. The space felt like an extended closet, and the bed was so small that there was barely enough room to move. If they had informed me that they couldn't meet my request, I would have gladly made alternative arrangements at another hotel.

Everything else Tried calling the hotel for several hours to book parking and there was no answer. Thought I will ring the hotel when I arrive at reception, I did the phone rang but the chap at the reception didn’t pickup. I asked him I’ve been trying to several hours he reply we have been busy, don’t seems that way. Staff was not welcoming, did not provide the details. What time was breakfast The toilet in the room is isolated l, the sink and shower is in separate room. The room was extremely hot, the fan didn’t work (no aircon) the window was too small to make any difference. My team are regular travellers and will not book Novotel again!!
